Authorities in Chonburi shut down an unlicensed massage shop in Bang Lamung district on 3 December 2025 following complaints from local residents. The operation was led by Pol Col Tienchai Lertmaneetaweesap, Superintendent of Investigation Division 1, Provincial Police Region 2, together with senior public health officer Jirasan Meeratthanawat. Officials found the business operating without the legally required licences and providing massage services to customers at the time of the raid.

The three-storey premises in Pong subdistrict had several massage beds and other equipment on the ground floor when officers arrived. Teams searched the upper floors, where two customers were found receiving treatment. One masseuse was actively providing a massage to an undercover Region 2 investigation officer who had posed as a customer to verify the complaint, prompting officials to halt all services immediately.

Authorities photographed the scene and seized relevant items, including massage oils, balms and equipment for use as evidence. The shop owner and staff were taken for questioning as part of the investigation. According to the owner, the business had recently been taken over from a previous operator and she claimed she did not know that a licence was required to run a massage or wellness establishment. She stated she would complete all legal requirements before reopening.

TMN reported that officials stressed that all massage shops and wellness businesses must comply with licensing regulations, both for the establishment itself and for massage staff, who must hold recognised training certificates. They warned that violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law without exception.

We can always count on the RTP to maintain law and order and keep society running smoothly. If they had let their shop continue to operate the very fabric of society could have come apart at the seams.

Thank goodness for the heroes at the RTP, their only concern is maintaining the well-being of society.

It's reassuring that the usual AN suspects are taking action to lamely mock the police for doing their jobs.

What does unlicenced mean exactly ?  The brown enveloppe never came over ?

Many of the MPs seem to be owned by the same outfit these days,  Risa, all much of a sameness. I do hope they aren't behind this.
