A fire broke out at a paper factory inside the Golden Dragon Industrial Estate in Nong Yai district, Chonburi, at about 13.30 on December 4, 2025, triggering a large-scale emergency response. Fire engines from the district and nearby areas, were deployed as flames spread rapidly across piles of paper at the facility.

Officials found intense flames sweeping through a recycling paper warehouse before spreading to adjacent storage buildings and structures. The area around the site had no nearby residential communities and there were no reports of injuries, though the fire’s scale made containment difficult.

By 17:00 the blaze had intensified, filling the area with bright flames and causing parts of the building to collapse, while crews continued attempts to bring the incident under control.

The blaze at the paper factory was followed roughly four hours later by a second fire about 8 kilometres away, reported at around 17.30 the same day. This fire occurred at a chicken-processing facility within the same Golden Dragon Industrial Estate in Nong Yai district. Firefighters were again mobilised, with officials confirming that the situation was developing and the fire spreading quickly.

Police at Nong Yai Police Station reported receiving notification of the second fire at approximately 17.40. The affected site was identified as a hatchery operated by GP Breeding, located in Khao Sok subdistrict of Nong Yai. According to investigators, the cause was believed to be wind-carried embers originating from the ongoing fire at the paper-compacting factory, as strong gusts were recorded at the time.

When officers arrived, they found the hatchery building engulfed in flames and documented the scene while coordinating with forensic experts. Initial reports confirmed that no injuries had been recorded.

Authorities, including the Nong Yai district chief, the Nong Yai police superintendent and responding police teams, recorded evidence and monitored the evolving situation. Fire crews remained on both throughout the night as efforts to suppress both fires continued. Officials confirmed that investigations into the exact causes and full damage assessments would proceed once the area was deemed safe.

Key Takeaways

• Two major fires erupted within hours at separate factories in Nong Yai district, Chonburi.

• Embers from the first paper-factory fire are believed to have sparked the second blaze at a hatchery.

• No injuries were reported and authorities continue damage assessments and investigations.

Luckily, both owners had recently renewed their Insurance policies.

More total nonsense. Why is it every fire is considered by some to be an issuance job?

You clearly have no knowledge or experience of fire investigation or how insurance claims work.

Do you think, the insurance just hands over the cash without a full investigation? Not sure how anyone can be that naive.

Was your sense of humour surgically removed during childhood?  There's no smoke without fire.

There was no intended humor in your tedious comment.

So just because there was a fire, you again think it was an insurance job. Did you even read the OP about the suspected cause of the second fire.

Your posts shows your total lack of any knowledge about fire and insurance investigations, because if you did you would see how pointless your comment was.
