A beauty clinic in Phuket is under scrutiny after at least nine people reported fraudulent activities involving their financial accounts. Workers at the clinic allegedly accessed victims' mobile phones during treatments, using their financial applications to make unauthorized purchases. Victims have come forward via Facebook, alerting others and seeking justice.

The incidents first came to light when two representatives of the victims contacted the Facebook page โหดจัง จังหวัดภูเก็ต. They shared their stories to warn the public and to encourage more affected individuals to come forward. Currently, the victims have identified at least seven others with similar experiences at the clinic.

One victim recounted purchasing a service package and visiting the clinic on December 9. While her eyes were closed during treatment, a staff member persuaded her to buy a discounted additional package. However, she later discovered unauthorized charges totaling 227,000 baht on her credit card and a 40,800 baht loan through her Shopee account.

Another victim experienced a similar situation, losing 150,000 baht. Both victims demanded resolution from the clinic, though they ultimately filed police reports due to distrust. The growing number of cases highlights a pressing need for legal action and increased awareness to prevent similar incidents.

Experts warn that such frauds could have widespread implications for consumer trust in service industries. Authorities are urged to investigate promptly to hold the responsible parties accountable. Victims are advocating for more people to step forward, reinforcing the necessity for joint legal action against the clinic's malpractices, reported The Thaiger.
