Hi all. We have his Birth registration paper, which was done by me last year.

We have an appointment with VFS in BKK.

For the first time passport, they require a photo to be countersigned by a British citizen. For those of us who know no one, can a Thai professional countersign the photo?

 

Any  hints visiting VFS. They have horrible reviews, for the most part.

VFS are very good; they'll check everything for you before it's sent off.

 

If you don't know a UK citizen to counter-sign the child's photos, you can use a non-UK professional, but it may delay the process as they may need to check their identity. I was told to include a copy of the counter-signer's passport details.
