Hard to say without a better snap, especially of the head.   When I saw the 'white lines'  I thought King Cobra.  Hopefully no, and the Rat Snake more appropriate.   Google Lens ...

From the pronounced flattened triangular shape, I would guess a Keeled rat snake (Ptyas Carinatus).

It's posted in the Koh Samui/Koh Phangan/Koh Tao-forum; so, likely outside a door on one of these islands...👍

location is important if want sure id when the scales and head is not visible. Some snakes with certain colors can be defined out from location. 

 

What snake did they conclude with ?
