Cannabis Shops Must Become 100% Clinics Under New Thai Law

Therein lies the rub...these people cannot relax. Jumping around like monkeys and making a fuss for no good reason. Just unhappy with their lives.

Calling cannabis users pothead is just as dumb as calling people who use alcohol drunks .

As a user I see it as reclaiming the word, lol,  bit like the rappers calling each other *igger   people who use alcohol are pi$$ heads in the context of this thread but as I no longer bother with drink I feel a bit uncomfortable using that word for fear of causing offence .... honest  lol

Truth be told, it doesn't affect me either way. My issue here is wanting to be able to read serious commentary and the opinions and perspectives of others as to how they may be affected, rather than imbecilic comments of people who understand precisely nothing of the medical benefits, but feel the need to interject anyway.

Including yourself and your issues with anger. Another with their impotent rages with regard to smoking in public when we know it's really about something else entirely.. Many people have issues, diagnosed and undiagnosed. I don't feel the need to judge, unless they advertise it.

You constantly calling out everyone else with mental problems, can not control yourself, impotent, lonely, and the list is long.

why do you smoke, thats the question, and why do you get so upset about something that doesnt matter for you ? Just opinions where we welcome a bit more regulation, and also penalties for those who can not behave. Not so complicated to understand is it?

But, some are potheads and some are drunks, can not deny it. Therefore regulations is in place

How would that stop either drunks, potheads or people heading towards dementia?

There are easier ways to launder money without having to jump through hoops,   Nail bars and barber shops are a favorite in the UK

How is that easier than 10,000 weed shops that won't turn a profit?

Well there is no need to employ a medical professional for a start  and no need to collect the ID details of all the customers or to retain the records of every sale and  purchase for god knows how long.   Is that enough for you for now?   There are plenty of reasons why launderers would find using a relatively unregulated business easier than one which is under the spotlight,   just my humble opinion

i think we need more than 2 shops out of 10,000 closing to reach that conclusion

Someone wrote that the new law was being ignored. These two shops have been open since it became legal to sell cannabis and now they have closed. You are right it may just be a coincidence, but let's see how many others close.

and indeed lets see the real reason why so many shops will inevitably close,  for sure there are just too many for the demand , the "high street" is over saturated with them, many are not showing a profit and probably never would have. Introducing regulations that will raise overheads will of course make it impossible for many to continue.

There are two shops in my local town center  one would be enough based on the number of customers I have seen using them, neither have been open more than about a year, they were open for business as usual yesterday, with neither showing any sign of requiring prescriptions  or production of any form of ID   or indeed  imminent closure, so as you say, lets wait and see. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst,  it's always good advice

Sorry but what are you talking about. 5-20B a gram for premium bud online these days.

a small bag used to cost 30 baht in na glua market when they were asking tourists 500 on the street. I dare say such savings are still around.
