What is the dumbest thing you have seen at the airport?

I've been wondering about that. I just turned 70 and planning on going to the USA next year. I heard that there is a lane for us oldsters. 😃 Bring it on, I'm playing that old card. Anyway, where do I find this lane when departing and returning?

Not sure if this helps but I've read that at BKK anyone over 70 can use the Priority line - the ones that Business Class pax use. Anyone confirm?

Confirmed.

At the bottom of the ramp up to immigration keep to the right and look for a sign saying Priority. It'll take you up to the Thai etc automated gates and to the right of them are the priority counters.

Three things. First, everyone has seen this, at the security line, it always amazes me how so many people aren't ready when their turn comes up to place everything in the baskets for x-ray - like they've never done it before.

Second place in stupidity goes to the people running Colombo airport in Sri Lanka. No queues. Just chaos and everyone pushing and shoving to get to the check-in counter.

Third, goes to airlines that ask you to check in online - you do so - then show up at airport looking for the bag drop counter, but there isn't one and you have to get in the same check-in line as everyone else for 30-40 minutes. What was the point on online check-in.

Thanks. I'm assuming Phuket will be the same. If not, I'll talk my way through it. 🤗

Just misbehave in public who are rude, disrespectful, lack manners and have poor public etiquette.

Returning from the US in November, the staff at immigration checking the "online arrival cards" told the guy in front of me that his was no good, and he argued, so the staff moved on.

He was claiming to the rest of us that it had worked the last time or some such and was jerking around on his phone.

Half hour later the immigration officer turned him down, and it was back to the end of the line.

Why not try again ...in English this time.

Saw a guy walking around barefoot that had sandal straps tattooed on his feet.

Tattooed Sandales we can put up with but we should say thanks he didn't have his underwear tattooed to his bum instead of the real item...

They're getting booted out now too because of it. Of all the bad behavior I've seen in Thailand Chinese have been the worst.

They are the worst. I was just at a breakfast buffet. A Chinese dude pretty much emptied out an entire tray of fruit.

Well, there was this Aussie guy with a mop wandering around trying to find the guided tour desk.
