I haven't started season 2 as yet.

Yeah, its kinda gone to the dogs, but still alright, light viewing.

Im watching Criminal Record S02 which is a weekly drop and Chestnut man S02, The Boys finished in the week. I got around to watching 2025 The year from space - that was pretty cool.

A covert team of elite operatives are living in the shadows. When a ruthless despot steals a billion-dollar fortune, they’re sent to take it back-an impossible heist that erupts into a deadly game of strategy, deception and survival.

Looks like it will be reasonably shallow entertainment.

Watched F1 and was very pleasantly surprised. 8.5/10

F1: The Movie (2025) - IMDb

The Chestnut Man All season 2 individual episodes are on TPB, TheRARBG, TorrentDownload, LimeTorrents etc. No complete season 2 pack available yet on those sites.

The ones from TPB appear to have Danish/English audio and multiple subtitles.

Just watched it. My God, never knew that animals like this existed. Loved it when Madely asked the Commander if he could come over to UK and sort things out. Great.

Flying back from the Philippines I watched the first few episodes of The Rainmaker on the plane. I remember it had been mentioned it last year. Quite entertaining. It's obviously a remake of the movie with the same name. I'll definitely be getting the episodes I haven't yet seen. The only downside is, if it matches the movie, I already know how it ends.

In 1992, Rachel Nickell was murdered on Wimbledon Common and her son, Alex, just three weeks from his third birthday, was the only witness.

The drama is based on the memoir and experiences of Alex and his father, André Hanscombe.

I have just watched the movie, "Darkest Hour" and although I saw it a few years back, I still enjoyed it immensely and I have to say that Gary Oldman's portrayal of Winston Churchill was absolutely brilliant (as far as I know) and I had no idea that Britain was that close to surrendering or being totally overrun until I watched this film.

IMO it was a stirring movie about a time when Britain was in great peril and the British character, resilience and fighting spirit showed through.

Herein a pic of my father on leave during the Second World War: –brave men and women, each and every one of them.

I managed to download , the first four episodes, of Series 5 of Clarkson's Farm, on TPB and thoroughly enjoyed the first two, as I have all of the others in the series, since the beginning.

From the series, and from what Clarkson said in it, he is probably lucky to be alive after his heart scare, although watching him in the series and noticing that he looked about nine months pregnant didn't fill me with hope that he would be completing many more of these (hopefully he does).

Will watch the next two episodes tonight.

Messiah - New Series to me but apparently it's from 2001 & has at least 5 seasons (though I'm only able to get Season 5).

After two horribly mutilated bodies are discovered, DCI Red Metcalfe is assigned to the case and plunged head-on into a nightmare.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0249301/

NB. Not to be confused with the other Series called Messiah which (IMHO) was Excellent...

When a C.I.A. officer investigates a man and his followers who attract international attention through acts of public disruption, she embarks on a global high-stakes mission to uncover whether he is a divine entity or a con artist.

Last Night I finished season 1 of Gomorrah: The Origins and enjoyed it. I expect more seasons will follow. Well worth a look IMHO. Recommended by @Will27

Does the Messiah you are referring to have Ken Stott in the main role? If so, all four series are excellent. It can be pretty gruesome in parts. I believe series 5 (2008?) had Marc Warren in the lead role(?) and this was slightly diluted compared to the first four series.

I have series 1-4 on a DVD box set (remember those 555). I did look to see if BBC had them on the iPlayer but unfortunately not at the moment. If you can find a platform airing these then well worth a look.

Yes, Marc Warren is the lead for S5.

It only popped up on WizzTV a couple of days ago so am hoping they’ll backload the 1st 4 series.

This happens sometimes.

Not usually but sometimes.

A show in this case a documentary that you really want to watch but can't find access to it.

It was released this January.

Oh well.

I love DOUGLAS and BLONDELL.

Great mix.

I sort of consider this a WASP movie, but only slightly.

These two are both so very likeable.

Movies like this are great on a winter evening when one is snowed in.

This film has excellent narratve with Helen Mirren.

Man, Helen Mirren has played so many Holocaust survivors they should give her honorary Israeli citizenship.

Everything is available on the Internet, of course.

Why not look on the Internet if you wish to find a film or doc?

The Last of the Mohicans

I had no intention of seeing that movie when it came out. Then one day I'm changing channels and I just happen catch the scene where Wes Studi is vowing to cut out somebody's heart, and it was so convincing (IMO) that you'd think he just might come off the screen and do it! Unfortunately I haven't seen him in anything else even comes close to that.

Just watched Seven Snipers as am a Tim Roth fan and despite the poor reviews thought maybe Tim could make it watchable …… unfortunately I was very wrong 😑

I did make it to the end though if only so you guys don’t have to !!

You’re welcome !

Euphoria, season 3

The first 2 seasons were pretty much like a bad-vibes version of the American Pie movies: teenage angst, sex drugs and varsity sports. In one episode they put on a play (at the fictional high school) that is a parody of the series itself -- I was impressed.

Season 3 is a completely different setting with the same characters, more like a Breaking Bad wannabe, the world of American low-life, deals with three different criminal organizations. It gets ugly. But you get to see the pretty boy get his face continually bashed; rumor going around the guy who plays him (Elordi) might be the next James Bond.

They ended the series with this season, but didn't announce it until after it aired.

He plays a mean bad guy in that movie, and the ending is a good one. Also plays the bad in Dances With Wolves.

I confess I posted this because I thought someone would help me find it somewhere as you did and thank you very much.

I looked in the usual places that serve things up cleanly.

Dailymotion isn't that as there are constant ads, but when you're desperate your're desperate.

Natchez was excellent! Highly recommended.

I never see ads on DailyMotion.

I have no clue why that might be.

But, you can always download from DailyMotion using various apps, I guess.

You DO know that I am a LINUX POWER USER, I suppose...???

By the way: Are you into HOOP DRESSES and HOOP SKIRTS of that period?

I downloaded Tip Toe mainly because it has an IMDB rating of 8.1 IMDB says:

Neighbors Leo, a Canal Street bar owner, and Clive, an electrician with two sons, find their lives unraveling as social tensions rise. Simple disagreements escalate into dangerous hostility in their Manchester suburb.

What it does not tell you is that it is about a gay Pub Landlord and his family and gay friends.

It's a very well made and very well acted comedy, we watched the first episode but decided it is not for us....
