I am preparing my documents for my Non O Retirement 12 month extension.

Appointment is on 2nd February 2026 and the Visa is Valid until 18 March 2026.

I have the full TM30 PDF issued by Immigration for the property that I rent which was done on on 25 February and shows a check out date of 31 December 2025 - as attached.

So my question is regards the check out date of 31 December 2025.

I am still at the same address as the TM30 (which matches the rental agreement) and I have not spent a night away.

So everything is still valid and approved but do I need to update/change the check out date on the certificate?

And if I so need to change how do I do that?

I want to avoid any issues with the TM30 document when I do the Non O retirement extension

It won't be any problem. At my first extension I had a TM30 with a checkout date of 28/02/25. Applied for extension on 26/04/24 and extension issued till 24/05/25.

Thanks for the reply. If I understand correctly your check out date of 28/02/25 was still valid when you did the extension on 26/04/24.

But mu check out date on the certificate has already passed on 31st December 2025 and wont be valid when I do the extension on 2nd February 2026.

So I d still like to be sre this is not an issue? Thanks

Ah OK, gotcha. Presumably you have a new rental contract now? My apartment does a new TM30 with the new contract, as they are obliged to do.

I only have my own experience to go on so not matching yours. But for full confidence why not just get a new TM30? Or is your landlord difficult?

No problem to do a new tm30 but didn't want to go that route if it wasn't necessary.

We did a contract extension in November but didn't do a new tm30 then!

So I will just do a new one as you suggested to be safe. Thanks very much for the help.

Check-out Date is an optional field. I always leave it blank when completing a TM30 (Online).
