Water sports Najomtien...

Featured Replies

Ever wanted do some water sports? I am looking for 1 or 2 guys to share renting a catamaran in Najomtien. On sunny days there is great wind from around noon to about 3 or 4 pm... (picture is from Jan 10, lots of action :-) )VID_20250331_181301_00_070_2026-01-10_21-49-34_screenshot.jpg

How much does it cost ??

depends on the length of the rental, 3 hours is 3000, 3 people easily fit on the Hobie Getaway...

No need to make a reservation ahead, only rent and pay if actual wind is showing...

So 1000 baht per 3 hours per person is not too bad I suppose..

I have bad memories of loosing my eye glasses in the Welsh harp ( Brent Reservoir)

whilst canoeing the canoeing was great loosing my new eye glasses doing a 360 roll
was a very bad experience and I still didn't learn the lesson until big waves in Phuket stole my very expensive titanium rim glasses and almost swept me out to sea lucky I was in the roped off swim area and lived to tell the tale.. catamaran looks like great fun hope you find some non " spectacled " participants 😋

You should get one of those holder strips, impossible to loose glasses again. 80 Baht or so. At Decathlon.

Even in the roughest wind surfing session I do not loose glasses (anymore)...Screenshot 2026-01-15 090617.png

Thanks I'll try to visit the new Decathlon store on Sukhumvit road someday.
