SAMSUNG RT50K6235S8/ST Fridge: Where to buy this exact model?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

I am in desperate need of this model Fridge.

I should have bought it last year.

Instead, I procrastinated, since I thought my Hitachi Fridge might last another year, or two.

But, the Hitachi bombed on my back in November of last year.

Now, I see that PowerBuy no longer offers this model.

I just see OUT OF STOCK on PowerBuy, and a few other sites, such as HomePro.

But...I really like this Fridge.

And, I think that, since the production date is about 2-years ago, then I might be able to "get a deal", if only I can find stock.

SURELY, there must be one new one in some reliable warehouse, just sitting there, waiting to be delivered to my house, SURELY?

I think about Bt.15,000 is a decent fair price for this unit.

I would snap it up if I could find one.

Such a big country, and one of the longest countries, from North to South, Thailand is.

Surely, there must be just one unit left here in Thailand.

I am not in the appliance business, and so I don't know how inventory is managed here.

Yet, surely there must be just one, in the box.

Here is what it looks like:

This price is acceptable, unless it has been reduced during the past months.

I think that this offering might be an older posting, from this store.

And, is this even a reliable source?

Surely, there must be someone on TV who might be willing to provide help in this matter.

I really like this fridge, for the money.

I will SNAP IT UP if I can find someplace (some retailer/wholesaler) willing to take my money, in exchange for this unit.

I will continue to remain optimistic, unless I hear any bad news from the forum.

Thanking everyone, in advance....

Gamma

Note:

I always buy TWO of everything because...here where I am...things do break at the oddest and most unexpected moments.

And I have learned: Never be caught without a backup, no matter what the situation might be.

My Hitachi stopped working without warning, for example.

Yet, I had a backup, and thankfully so.

Now, I have only one Fridge still standing.

I need to replace my backup.

Facebook Marketplace

In fact, I did check this Marketplace, as well, but no luck getting a new/unopened refrigerator of the same exact model I had been seeking.

Therefore, no recourse other than to buy the newer version of the same model.

I liked the older model version, and so just wanted to buy the same thing.

After much searching, I could not find even one.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Regarding New Samsung Refrigerator

You know, Folks, in all honesty...

Having just received delivery of the new Samsung, and after having Connected this Monster to my house WiFi...

In all honesty, this unique experience have been far better than what I recall sex once was for me...

When I was having sex, that is.

I wish I could receive delivery of a New Samsung Refrigerator....EVERY DAY...

I will always sing high-praises for the good performance (and super low cost) of this model I purchased.

(This is the upgraded newer model to the model I purchased 2.5 years ago, as I recall. My. How time flies when one is having fun.)

I expect this machine to outlive me, and this goes for the first model I purchased, 36 months ago, approximately.

These machines do the job, and do it well.

(I have ZERO negative remarks or evaluations to make about these beasts.)

For the money, this Samsung Refrigerator might be hard to improve upon.

I am very satisfied with the Samsung refrigerators, washing machines, and Samsung phones I have owned.

This is why I keep buying Samsung stuff.

Note: I wonder if I placed my Samsung A55 5G in my new Samsung Freezer compartment, just how long the phone might continue operating...

I just hope my curiosity won't kill my phone.

Good Job, Samsung....!!!!

(I will keep buying...)

Every time I open my Samsung fridge, this film comes to mind.

Samsung always sounds like Samson, at least to me.

OMG....what goes on in some folks heads.........

Have you tried this?

Yes, I did try that site.

The problem is that the company states that the machines have been tested, but might have minor defects, and yet still operate.

On the other hand, I needed a fridge which was in an unopened box from factory, and with the original warranty.

Also, if I am not mistaken, that company delivers from BKK, or some similar company, and they add up to Bt2000 for delivery outside the province.

Fortunately, I found the newer model available during a store promotion.

The only downside, as far as I can tell...

The newer model has wheels.

The older model seems far more stable, due to the lack of wheels.

I will never use wheels. Pushing a 78 kg fridge across a hardwood floor, on those tiny casters, would scar the wood irreparably.

I will make do with the wheels, the promotion price, and similar cooling features, plus the new model connects to WiFi, which might be of limited benefit to some.

Access via the SAMSUNG App...

Install it here, from Google Play, if you will...

This app actually works quite well.

The Panasonic WiFi app is GARBAGE, by comparison.

This is why I will not buy Jap appliances from companies such as Hitachi and Panasonic, if not manufactured inside Japan.

Hitachi has already sold out and sold their appliance division to some third-world company in Europe.

Now, the service arm of Hitachi here has completely changed, 180, and very suddenly.

So, here is the download link for the Samsung app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.oneconnect&hl=en

IF Hitachi dares to bail on it's dedicated customer base, then we will bail on Hitachi.

I will never buy anything with the H brand, ever again.

If Hitachi is too busy to manage it's own house, they....

They will get the customer loyalty that they now deserve.

Even contacting customer service has gone to the dogs, compared to the excellent experience we all once knew and loved.

This Circumstance Boggles My Mind: And you?

Here are two Samsung products. One weights about 78 Kg. The other weights about as much as a Robbin's Egg.

Both products sell for approximate the SAME PRICE.

What are these products?

cc. The 990PRO is now OUT OF STOCK...since last month.

I was one of the lucky few who scored one, just one.

It is a beauty, for sure, but it is over-priced, IMHO.

Still, it will be the last bit of memory that I buy, for the next decade, I do believe.

===================

It boggles my mind that such a tiny thing can cost so much.

I scored this thing for over USD100 less than this price, this out-of-stock price.

dd. Has our world NOW GONE CRAZY?????

i ASK you, honestly...

I will NOT be buying much, if ANYTHING, for the next 18-months, or more.

I am now: COMPLETELY BANKRUPT, or almost. I still have enough money for food, thankfully.

Otherwise, why have a new refrigerator, in the first place?

But, really: Prices are now so high, and going higher, by the day....

I will STOP buying, now.

Enough is enough.

Thankfully: TV is still free. And, TV will be my only entertainment and solace, for many moons to come...believe me.

So, thank you Folks...

Your Good Friend...

Gamma
