News stories are fine. It's the hate that ruins things.

Most of the hateful posts are made by only one user, and the volume of negative emojis and responses to them reflects this.

I cannot see Comment on this story. There are the emojis which then show in Notifications as a reaction, and Quote if you want to Comment on a particular post/story.

I have also noticed that quite a few of his posts seem to disappear shortly after they are published. I assume they are being removed due to all the hostility and personal attacks upon others that violate community guidelines. If they were not taken down, it is hard to imagine how much additional nastiness this site would be laden with. It's the kind of distasteful behavior that's enough to drive the other good people away.

Well I for one think the moderators on this forum do a pretty good job. I'm sure it's quite a thankless task, yet they continue to keep the site up and running effectively, kudos to them.
