I've seen some really old Westerners in my local Central, who need assistance to walk , accompanied by an attractive young assistant wearing some kind of uniform- reminded my of " Young Mr. Grace " from the sitcom " Are you being served " , anyone remember that? 😃.

I was just wondering if any of you had considered this option for your later years, must be a lot cheaper than something similar in the UK ( currently ÂŖ 1000 + ) per week.?

I've seen some really young (joking maybe in their 40's, middle aged) Westerners on soi Buakhou needing assistance to walk.

Generally, these guys fall down, then a nice taxi motorbike guy (or a not so friendly transvestite) picks him up off the floor

Definitely better to stay here in a home or hire people. In UK my parents in residential care cost was ÂŖ14k a month yes month

The same actor also played the role of Mr. Blewit in Dad's Army...showing my age now 😀.

Well, I wouldn't mind the female carers that he had in 'Are you being served?' !!
