You can't argue with MAGAs or anyone else. You're a regurgitator, that's it.

Claiming the minimum wage in "America" is $23 is ridiculously wrong. Please provide support for your claim, admit you were wrong, or we can assume you are a liar.

You are wrong again. The minimum wages are 23 dollars in OZ, and in the US, they are 6

You said: "The minimum wages are 23 dollars per hour in America, it is about 6 dollars the land of the free b/s and wars"

That is a direct quote, and I'm sorry, but I understood you to be saying that the minimum wage in the US was 23 dollars.

The highest minimum wage in the U.S. is D.C. at $17.00, followed by California at $16.00.

www.minimum-wage.org/wage-by-state.

Federal minimum wage in the US is AUD 10.18

Actual minimum wages in the US range from AUD 10.18 to AUD 25.22

Last year when I was in California, I saw signs in the windows of fast-food shops that there were hiring, with starting wages from US$22-26 (AUD 30.90-36.52) (depending on job) plus benefits, which included medical, dental & 401K matching.

And both are blue states.

Yes, blue states generally have higher minimum wages.

So?

Unlike you, I am not relegated to regurgitation, and I understand basic arithmetic. Assuming: "They make up over 40 percent of all US workers in agriculture, 30 percent in food production and construction, and over 20 percent in the service sector." is true, then "Generally speaking, they are working in jobs that US citizens don't want to do." cannot be true.

Per the OPs regurgitation, Americans make up over 60 percent of all US workers in agriculture, 70 percent in food production and construction, and over 80 percent in the service sector, so clearly Americans will do those jobs.

And as labor becomes scarcer and wages go up, more Americans will be willing to do that work.

The maths is fine — the logic isn’t airtight.

Agriculture includes:
– farm ownership
– management
– machine operators
– seasonal field labour

A 60–80% sector share does not prove Americans fill the hardest, lowest-paid roles within it. The original claim concerns specific job types, not overall sector totals. Sector totals don’t establish internal job distribution — that’s a composition fallacy.

The claim that higher wages will automatically replace migrant labour is speculative. It’s an assumption, not evidence.

You are correct, there is no "proof" that if people were paid $80K a year to pick grapes, that people working in factories for $40 a year will automatically choose to pick grapes.

For every owner there are how many managers?

For every manger, there are how many machine operators?

For every machine operator, there are how many seasonal field workers?

And I believe most all seasonal workers are in the country legally.

I get it, the left wants open borders and mass migration, but it's because it helps them. it only hurts the poor and working poor in the US.

When I say the left wants open borders and mass migration, the left howls that it's not true, but then they always come around to admitting it in posts like yours.

Yes, it certainly can be true. If you understood what these jobs were then you'd also know that there are layers to each one. Think of a pyramid with 20 horizontal lines. Each line is a construction job, sure.
Problem is, the two bottom lines are the worst jobs there are. Guess who's doing them ?

EDIT;
Am I the only one thats excited to see Trump create these jobs ahead of the AI invasion that would have made people homeless.
Instead, theres millions of jobs opening up for them thats certainly safe from AI.
A happy ending for all

Do you have any evidence to support your claims?

That all you have? That's pretty weak brother.

What claim(s) do you think need supporting?

I have worked construction, I have done farm work, I have done factory work.

My post was that is that the numbers do not in no way show that citizens are doing all the "easy" jobs while illegals are doing all the grunt work. If it were 5% Americans, and 95% illegals, that might be an argument.

So, how does an owner, a manager and a machine operator communicate with the illegals?

Is it your position that paying more money, does not make jobs more attractive?

That has not been my experience.

And who is paying for the increased cost of products due to higher labor rates?

Just now, Dan O said:

The people that buy the products.

Are you against higher labor rates?

Of course you are, you're a leftist, you want open border and mass migration, so you can have cheap labor to pick your crops, a housekeeper, a gardener and a nanny. You could give a sh*t less how it hurts the poor, as long as it benefits the rich that's all you care about.

If you'd done those jobs, that question would have never left your lips.

You're posting moronic claims that i have never said. Show even one message Ive posted stating any those issues i have claimed to support or stfu with your lies.

theres a right way and a wrong way to conduct government and make needed change and your idol has no clue how to do that and neither do you apparently.

Thats why he's losing in court on most all issues, losing his own parties support, he's lost the support of our allies and the laughing stock among world leaders. His polling numbers continue to fall. His character has been shown in the epstein files despite his trying to cover them up and thats just the tip of the iceberg. Illegal criminal military orders and actiond on the international seas and in countries. Educate yourself so you dont look so foolish.

I meant generally

Everyone I know supports legal immigration and legal guest workers.

Would you like Australia's borders open, and illegal immigrants to flood in, be allowed to remain, and to receive public assistance and free medical? That's what the left wants in the US.

Every country has a right to decide who they should or should not let in. Australia did it with boat people arriving. They were put in immigration centres awaiting their approval on compassionate and safety reasons to be allowed in. Many of them are now good hard working fellow Australians.

Others that failed approval were returned. No returns to countries that politically would have caused them serious harm. In later years detention centres such as in nauru have been used which is far far from ideal

Australia is surrounded by sea so it is easier to protect our borders and America is not in this enviable position to safeguard your borders. However, shouldnt each individual be allowed to present a case to stay in America have it assessed by a competent department on grounds to be determined whether they pass the requirements of being law abiding people of good character? The image of ICE rounding and dragging people off the streets, cruelty being reported in detention facilities, children, one i know of being zip tied Is distressing. T

Guess I struck a nerve.

When I read someone complaining that deporting illegal aliens will drive up "production costs", I comprehend that to mean they want lower wages for the working poor, is there another way to comprehend it?

Yes its called a factual statement not a position Ive taken. only nerve that was struck was your own and thats why you avoid replying correctly to whats written.

Its interesting how you gaslight answering for claims that you make on what Ive said or positions Ive taken when I call you out on it. What you do is called lying and your very consistent at lying. Yet you do respond with another inaccurate response about what Ive said. If you can't comprehend what people write its better if you don't reply

I know leftists seem to all claim that they are against open borders and illegal immigration, BUT....

Then they go on about how great illegal immigration is, and how we can't do without it.

You are nothing if not transparent.

It's hilarious the way leftists get all indignant and whatnot when you call then out.
