The Save America Act is being touted by the Democrats that it disenfranchises large swathes of the community from voting including the poor, African Americans and my favourite newly married women where in actual fact it stops those who are not US citizens from voting. To shovel snow in NY, however, ID is needed.

Please inform those who are against requiring ID to vote your observation. You're 100% correct, it doesn't.

Just saw a short vid of someone trying to register. NYC just gets sillier & sillier. The bureaucracy of the simplest tasks is ridiculous.

Aside from having an ID to vote, is only common sense, since every legal, real US citizen has one, as essential to live. You literally can't function in the US, an ANY country without an ID.

Thanks. I read up on why some think it bad. According to the Brennan Center, the rate of in-person voter impersonation is extremely low: only 0.00004% of all ballots cast. It affects blacks most as they are among the least likely to have the right ID.
