Lazada collection point in Bangkok as I pass through the city?

Featured Replies

Right now (latest move lol), I'm based in Siem Reap (Cambodia). Unless I can secure a business visa to stay in Myanmar, I can base myself in this cheap (cheap rent, food, visa etc) location and travel to Myanmar on 28-day tourist visas to do my educational charity work.

One item that I want to donate to schools/orphanages are sets of English vocabulary flash cards. I've used these before and they are popular, since the words also link to my mobile app.

In Cambodia, I can only buy them on AliExpress for about 45 baht, with a 60 day delivery... But in Thailand I can (and have) bought them at 22 baht/pack, delivered to a Thai address in a few days.

So what I want to do on my next trip to Mandalay is to fly into Don Mueng, pick up my pre-ordered/pre-paid Lazada parcel from a specified, secure collection point, and then continue my journey to Mandalay.

Although I'd envisage entering Thailand at Don Mueng perhaps 6 times each year, I've never had any problems with the immigration officers, since they can see that I have an outbound flight the next day.

Can anyone suggest a secure collection point? Yonks ago I had a PO Box at a shop in Saladaeng Central Shopping. Is there anywhere close to Don Mueng that can offer a similar service?

I would have them delivered to the hotel you are staying in.

I'm not staying in a hotel! I would arrive on the morning flight from Siem Reap and leave for Mandalay on an afternoon flight.

Update: It was Mailboxes etc company that I've used before and they have a few offices in BKK, although not near the airport. I'll see if I can open a mailbox account 'online' so that I can start to use it :)

Deliver to airport departure lounge

I don't think that's allowed!

Don Mueang has a post office at terminal 2 at domestic departures. This office might accept mail pickup.

I already asked. They do not accept receipt of parcels and there is nothing in departures that can accept parcels (they could be drugs!!).

I'll try to contact Mailboxes Etc company that I used many years ago :) Thanks!

Maybe contact the Airport, explain the situation, and have it delivered there.

I think there is a Mailboxes Etc. at Lotus On Nut, just as you enter off the BTS On Nut skywalk, I know there used to be.

No need to ask when the answer is, obviously, going to be "No".
