*90-Day Non-O marriage visa* ...is a 2nd extension Possible?

Featured Replies

Hello!

Okay I received my 6O DAYS Extension on my 90 Day non-o marriage to visit wife Thai visa from UK.

I've been checking flights to return to UK AND basically they are a lot cheaper if i leave around 10 days after my visa is up..!!!

SO...my question is can i get a further 10 days or so Extension on top of my 6O DAYS Extension, and if so do i have to go through the same docs etc... with taking the wife to chaengwattana?!

Thanks in advance for any info/help!

No. The only further extension possible would be an annual extension which is not what you are after.

OP, the first reply has your answer.

For others when less than 7 days is required for similar reason you could apply for extension knowing it will be refused and given 7 days to exit Thailand.

Overstay for 10 days = 5000b Not recommended option.

Suggest you pay the higher flight cost.

Poor planning

A question for those more knowledgeable than myself. After the 60 day extension mentioned in this article, would it be possible to depart to a nearby country and then return with an extension?

extensions are granted inside Thailand, visa's in most cases are granted outside Thailand, it may be possible to exit Thailand and re-enter on Visa exempt

Steve post above has clarified.

He could exit and reenter visa exempt. However not ideal.

The OP mentioned cost of flights being motivating factor.

His best option it to book flight that avoids overstay.

Poor planning
