Connecting Claude-Bot and OpenCLAW to Nuclear Arsenals: Good idea?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

We are quickly approaching a time of great decision (some might say great indecision).

Should we connect OpenAI’s OpenCLAW, and Anthropic’s Claude Bot, to the Nuclear Arsenals of the United States and India?

Would this be a good idea?

We need a computer-based Nuclear Weapons system that can react faster than humans, in case the United States or India is threatened.

During the past few days, the US Government has issued an ultimatum to Anthropic’s CEO:

Put Up or Shut Up.

Which means, open your AI to the US Army or we will shut you down, BIG TIME.

Can the US government shut-down Anthropic?

Of course they can, since Anthropic’s main customers are Enterprise entities such as, well, probably defense contractors, and many more. Labeling Anthroopic as a security risk will mean that suppliers and subcontractors will quickly become disinclined to deal with Anthropic.

So, if you were the CEO of Anthropic, what would YOU do?

And, do you believe it is necessary for our safety to have OpenCLAW manage the world’s Nukes, for the safety and protection of Humanity?

I do.

Best regards,

Gamma

Also, I forgot to mention one other important question in this affair:

How far can you trust EMIL when he tells you that he will put his guarantees in writing?

He is smart, yes.

But, was he not born in Egypt?

Once born in Egypt, it's not easy to suddenly stop walking like an Egyptian.

As for a pick of Secretary of Defense, or similar, I would prefer to see a citizen who had been born in the USA....

I say (BORN in the USA...like Bruce.)

Do you think I am not being sufficiently.....PC???

Well, we are ALL World Citizens in this new day and age, and fine....

image.png

No, I would not trust this guy, very far.

But, I also know that culture is culture, and blood is thicker than water.

Who is running the USA, these days, anyway?

Well, as long as he puts things on paper, all will be fine.

He will stand behind what he says, until tomorrow, ....maybe....

It would appear the Heritage Foundation is running the United States.

Paper seems to have developed vanishing properties .

File numbers indicate assumption of existence .

Extremely dubiously attributed to the quirks and or quarks of digital permanence s.

Non produced physical evidence is indicative of deliberate fraudulent claims.

Resolution of debate is potentially only achieved in the shadow of massive mushroom clouds.

Yes.

And, where is my friend Bob McNamara when we need him most?

There are several reported instances since the 1980s, perhaps earlier, when a decision made by a human prevented the start of nuclear Armageddon. It was humans who decided machines were in error, reading false telemetry.

Does anyone who has used any AI agent think AI systems are currently so foolproof that errors are not possible? Isn't it a little early to put the fate of humanity in the hands of error-prone systems?

Sure, Sam Altman will agree to let the drunk Hegseth use his system, as it gets Altman 2 things he seems to need: money and prestige. That is where two flawed humans in the chain---Hegseth and Altman---present a problem.

Dario Amodei of Anthropic seems more moral and discerning. He is standing up to Hegseth and Trump. Trump just nixed any USG use of Anthropic systems in any sphere of government as "punishment" for Amodei refusing to let Hegseth use Claude. Amodei also has first hand knowledge of the "moral character" of AI systems, as it was Anthropic that ran the simulations that tested AI's ability to both deceive and blackmail, having "learned" from reading everything ever written that humans can often benefit from immorality.

No matter what Anthropic does or does not do: There is always Sammby-Boy who will gladly do the dirty work and step into where Amodei dares not tread, or refuses to tread.

Count on Amoral Altman do do anything.

Yet, at the moment, the weasel Altman is attempting to play this Anthropic-break with the Gov to Sammy's advantage, by making all the right noises and squeaks.

Word salad signifying nothing and merely squeaks from the weasel.

Altman already knows what he will do.

He will step in and benefit in any way possible, morally or otherwise.

He will not change because he cannot change.

His severe personality disorder, psychopathy, runs too deep.

Altman's GRANDIOSITY knows no bound?

Truly?

What a Trumped Up Paperhanger of an individual.

In fact, and speaking with no hyperbole intended, I would not be surprised if Altman is not really the next AntiChrist that everyone has been talking about...maybe...

How did Sammy get so much funding?

After all, Sam is the epitome of a...

"Clammy Little Man"...

Hilarious, and who does not need truth spoken, these days?

Nobody in Mainstream Media seems interested in speaking truth, after all...

Haha...

But, honestly, this American-AI story is the greatest ongoing saga of GREED and CORRUPTION the world has ever seen.

This story is truly riveting to watch unfold.

We thought, at one time, that the Elizabeth Holmes story was spicy and corrupt. But, her misdoings were kindergarten stuff compared to the convoluted machinations of the likes of Sammy-Boy, and a few others.

The Absolute Beauty of this story is that we are in on the ground floor, able to watch this in....REAL TIME.

Someday in the future, there will be many Film Docs made about all this, and....we will be able to say to our grandchildren, if the world lasts long enough for us to see our grandchildren...

"I was there."

"I was a witness."

We are so lucky, this time.

It may well be documentaries...made by AI for the robots to enjoy. "Can you believe how gullible those meat-people were? What a joke!"

A machine-world used to sound like the stuff of science fiction. But perhaps AI would exhaust the planet's resources far slower than we. They might even be able to repair the damage we did.

We failed this experiment. It's just a question of fast or slow extinction.

This is a known known, and we have worried about this for quite some time.

Worrying about it will not make this truth go away, unfortuantely.

I did mean our extinction, not the species that sustain us.

Just judging from your comment, I would guess that you must consider yourself to be an Apex predator.
