Why am I so interested in Israel and the Muslim world. I've been friends with a lot of Jews in my life. I'd like to see Israel shine, and I think it can. It has great potential to be an oasis in the Middle East. That won't happen if Israelis keep stealing land. The warmongers are in solid control. The IDF is just evil.

I guess I think the situation in the Middle East is easy to understand because of a millennia of enmity. Nobody with any compassion minimises the Holocaust.

And I don't think there much I can offer Ukraine, though Russia is obviously in the wrong. The Euros are too pussy to really give Ukraine something useful to defeat Russia, like bombing Moscow, the seat of govt, Putin's dachas.

Israel is practically an extension of the US.

They are allies, at the very least. But it seems even more inter-twined than most other allies.

Some people even go so far as to say Israel controls many of the US policies ... it's above my pay grade. I dont know who controls what.

Think about that for awhile, and ponder the terms, "Oppression," and "Apartheid." I love it when the victims are framed as "aggressors" and the oppressors frame themselves as the victims. Israel is an Apartheid state just like South Africa was, and just like South African apartheid, it is abhorrent. And I'm tired of Israel's framing themselves as the universal victims.

Is a prison a concentration camp? And what would have to change for Gaza to not be a concentration camp?

There are so many threads about Israel now, I can't even remember which one I posted this in.

Western countries are hardly saints.

The formation of Israel is brutality by the West (initially British empire), suppression of Palestinian rights, etc ... while Jewish people were also facing anti-semitism in Europe and had to be exiled.

A very young Joe Biden states explicitly in this video that "Israel is an OUTPOST of the US to protect US interests in the Middle East".

So that's why US fights wars for Israel. Israel is part of the US.

I wonder if Israel's treatment of 'illegal' immigrants guided US policy. Israel also suggests 'self-deportation, or imprisonment in bleak conditions at Saharonim in the Negev or Givon. These replaced a genuine concentration camp, Holot. There's even a specialist police unit just like ICE.

Saharonim was described as having unfit conditions by the UNHCR.

Givon Prison was where the Gaza Flotilla activists were held.

Nothing beats Holot in the Negev. It was so bad it was closed by order of Israel's Supreme Court.

Mostly the answer is yes. What would have to change? Rebuilding of the Gaza destroyed by Israel at Israel's expence. Keeping American corporate development out of Gaza. Open borders so Palestinians can work in Israel.
