If a witness is not credible, the DoJ doesn't use the interviews in its cases against two other criminals, Epstein and Maxwell---which they did.

Innocent until proven guilty, yes, but if this witness' statements were part of what convicted Epstein and Maxwell, it certainly demands additional investigation of Trump---which DoJ did not do.

If the House can call the two Clintons, one of whom never met Epstein, and question them under oath, it certainly seems time to call in Trump and question him under oath.
