Aren't you embarrassed to live in Pattaya

And there's the MSM thing you questioned me about. And we're all fat slobs. Maybe you only ate at tourist traps, in tourist areas.

There's junk food in every country, along with fat slobs. Just like Bangla, soi 6, and Nana, easy to avoid, like tourist trap food. I takes a while to find good food, or very lucky. Not easily done on a holiday sometimes, especially if you don't self drive.

I'm sure you've had some excellent & crappy food, we all have. But for some reason, yours is better, and well, we didn't have any excellent food. hmm

Let that sink in ... and remember, it's not about me

MSM is just in your imagination. I went there and saw it for myself. I don't understand why that doesn't sink in for you.

Overall we had pleasant and interesting experiences, but we felt bad for the people who could only afford the crud that they sold in the average supermarket and in the average restaurant. Sure you could spend a lot more to get something better, but not everyone is flush with cash. So they have to eat a host of chemicals and plastic food.

    Nope, love living here.

I’m more curious where you live that’s so flawless. A utopia, is it? No drunks, no dodgy headlines, no locals behaving badly… just everyone sipping herbal tea and filing their taxes early?

Why do you have such a compulsion to post dispiriting content on this forum. That’s the question you should be asking.

You are lying about your food experiences in the USA.

If you believe that, they you really are an idiot. Please don't be one. There are enough running around already.

Oh stop it....you are writing nonsense now. I already told you. Parmesan and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese...not same same.

where did I state they were.

so I have to go to Italy for P-R Cheese. Now who's being silly ?

I can find anything, anywhere I live, any time, just a keyboard away. I'm only in Krung Thep a couple times a month. Shh ... don't tell anyone

Did you hit your head somewhere along the way? We are writing about food in the USA, not your customised home made efforts. Home cooked is a different category. Why you keep going on about this, no one knows.

NY Pizza/New Jersey pizza created in those respective places. In other words, the average product. It ain't healthy. Got it?

Recipes ... now that's funny. Someone cooking for themselves, for 55+ yrs, don't need no stinkin' recipes.

I'm pretty sure you don't home cook in your condo.

I am making spinach for lunch today.... pretty proud of myself.

Only an idiot would claim the USA does have good food offerings.

"does"? Who is the idiot? 😊

Anyway, that is not what I wrote. I disagree with the statements that New York/New Jersey Pizza is healthy and that USA has the best food in the world. Of course you can find good food there.

99.9% chance that my condo has better kitchen, stove, oven and just about everything than your house.

Western condos are not dog crates that many call "luxurious" in Thailand.

That is commonly known as 'all the gear but no idea'.

What is the qualitative meaning of a better stove or oven?

Just look at those perfect specimens. Hardly any tats

You are spot on. The USA has a huge diversity of food choices. Plus, our Pizza is better.

American pizzas taste great but high calories. Only thin crust pizzas have reasonable carb levels.

They go to a few restaurants out of many thousands and think it's a description of all. The same with shopping at a few stores, failing to understand we can get almost any product sold worldwide in the stores themselves, let alone online. And thinking it's taste buds are the world class rated, while millions of others actually travel the world going to a hundred pizza restaurants and cast their votes to the studies done.

Everyone who has been to both the NYC area and Italy, which are quite a few I personally know, have said they rank equally and some of the chefs I talked to and who's restaurants I and other friends, many Italians, frequented, were from Italy and moved to the NYC area to open their own places, using the same techniques and ingredients they did back home.

Another thing he's failing to realize, is that there are a thousand pizza places in the New York, New Jersey, Philly area and all aren't top notch, and by going to just a few, you have no idea what's out there a mile away.

Yet you moved to Thailand. If USA was so amazing no need to go.

I have to downvote this. The USA is awesome. It's nice to have a change of location from time to time.

Trump would love 60 states but the Thais would not like it.

Yes, you can find whatever you want in the USA to satisfy your taste buds.

It was a joke about Trump wanting a bigger America and talking over Thailand.

When you skim, you tend to leave out most of the whole story, so it's best not to do that. A good memory also can serve you well before you post. The US is the best country in the world, as it has everything anyone could want in one place, even though many other countries are also great. And we will go when we're ready.

Tell that to the thousands of Thais that moved there, and do yearly.
