Selling West Bank real estate in New York only to Jews

You and several other posters are in need of some context, but it won't be easy to try to help you understand, so I'll include some appropriate background music.

"The Great Israeli Real Estate Event 2026" is a private, invitation-only event aimed at Jews who want to make Aliyah, i.e., immigrate to Israel. Aliyah has been an important component of Judaism for centuries and many Jews view it as a spiritual duty.

Since only Jews can make Aliyah, it wouldn't make sense to invite non-Jews, nor would any non-Jews have a reason for attending. Many of the Jews who do attend are elderly and want to spend their last years in Israel, then be buried there.

The thing is, these events are about more than just property sales. They involve the entire process of Aliyah from beginning to end. Information is available about burial in Israel and some Jews attend solely for that reason. Most attendees are not interested in West Bank settlements, but are looking for comfortable apartments in "Anglo" neighborhoods or even assisted living.

There's nothing sinister about this, other than in some people's imaginations. The West Bank aspect does make the event more controversial, but not all Jews regard the West Bank as "stolen" land. And I'll stop now, because a full discussion of land ownership in Israel is beyond this thread.

And I would answer that antisemitism has for over 2,000 years come from the hearts and minds of those who hate Jews for being Jews. The excuses given for this hatred have changed over the years; the hatred has remained constant.

Ev, I fully understand the purpose, and perhaps duty, of Aliyah, for the elderly and others over draft age.

But the choice of a synagogue was deliberately inflammatory. Thus any protest would appear to be Jew-hatred.

Land ownership is a far broader discussion, I agree, and hope you start such a thread. However, the Partition after the Mandate gave Jews and Palestinians specific demarcations of land.

Not sure who's profiting but Israelis are selling land in the West Bank that indisputably belongs to Palestinians.

(Hehe, of course, they're Jewish-Americans so likely already handy with a firearm!)

Deflection, deflection, deflection. I've no idea if it's legal for Arabs to buy land in the USA, and don't care. I do know it is illegal to have Israeli settlements in the "Occupied Territories" of t

Well aiding an enemy state in ethnic cleansing might reasonably be considered treason.

Just like nukes. It takes the most moral state to step up to the plate. You and I can agree Hamas & Hezbollah are racist nutters.

Don't you believe Israel is better than that? So stop already!

The UN passed Resolution 3379, which stated "Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination" in 1975. 🙂

Zionism is Racist: Critics argue that Zionism, in practice, operates as a settler-colonial, white-supremacist movement that privileges Jewish people—particularly Ashkenazi Jews—at the expense of Palestinians and even some African/black Jewish communities. They argue that Zionism has created a framework for apartheid, citing policies that prioritize Jewish immigration and land rights over those of the indigenous Palestinian population.

Such as this topic, illegally occupid land in Palestine under international law, being offered only to Jewry. 🙂

Not at all. Jews could live there as good, peaceable neighbours. Will Arabs be shooting their schoolchildren? Remains to be seen.

Jews never buy, they just take it, laws other the ones they make up themselves do not count at all. Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and Syria are proof. As was Egypt (Sinai) before.

Is this humour ?

You are posting in a thread about Jews buying properties .

And you post ''Jews never buy''

What would happen in Arabs began killing all the Jews ?

Will not stop until the Palestinain war criminals have been bought to justice .

They cannot get away with their crimes

war criminals

The IDF that shoot Palestinians but only yell at Jews for committing the exact same offence are committing war crimes based on different actions for different religions under international law and the Geneva convention. As it has been found to be a systematic directive, that also makes it a crime against humanity.

Are you for the IDF Jews and leaders in occupied Palestine to be brought to justice for these war crimes and crimes against humanity, and feel that they cannot get away with their crimes? 🙂

Absolutely right, all the War criminals need to be brought to Justice, Arab and Israeli, neither can get away with their crimes.

Do you agree with the above statement?

Of course, you cannot criticise Palestineians without also criticising Israelis as well .

Who will bring the Palestinian war criminals to justice ?

Who will make them pay for their atrocious acts on Oct 7 th ?

( BTW , 'Who will make Israelis pay for their atrocious acts'' , is NOT the answer to the question )

Hopefully, for both sides, the I.C.C. as they have the jurisdiction of the Court, as stated below:

Crimes within the

The jurisdiction of the Court shall be limited to the most serious crimes of concern to the international community as a whole. The Court has jurisdiction in accordance with Statute with respect to the following crimes:

(c) War crimes;

(d) The crime of aggression.

Do you agree with that?

I assume you mean Hamas. Israel has probably already killed those under ICC indictment.

You just keep changing Palestinian into Israeli and giving me the same question back .

Example ;

My Question :

"What would happen if Arabs began killing all the Jews ?"

The Answer to my question

"What would happen if Israelis killed all their Arab neighbours?

Me : "Will not stop until the Palestinian war criminals have been bought to justice ."

Reply :

Jews can already emigrate and leave Israel if they want .

So what actual changes are you proposing ?

We’re not going to get the answer from you about why the Palestinians do all this.

It seems to me that you think it’s a kind of weakness to answer any posts in a truthful way that in some kind of way betrays your support of Israel.

It’s the mark of a moral man to answer truthfully even when it appears to weaken your argument. In so doing, you strengthen your position in other arguments because you are seen as an honest poster.

You are not seen as an honest poster.

You asked me once if I believed the Palestinians had committed thousands of war crimes, I answered honestly and said Yes. You refused to accept the same for Israel, indeed you refused to answer the question about whether they had committed any war crimes until EP answered if for you.

In your second post above you talk about forcing Jews who have lived for 3,000 years in Israel out of Israel.

The answer to the question I asked about why the Palestinians do all this is very simple.

Israel took their homes and land, you did exactly that to them.

Simple answer, but it is true. It’s happening again on the West Bank. It’s probably going to happen in Gaza.

This hatred will continue until the injustice is put right.

I’m an atheist, but I strongly believe if your god exists, he will damn all of you complicit in this.

Why can you not understand my answer ?

Palestinins want all the land for themselves , they don't want to share .

That is the answer .

The Palestinians rejected sharing the land because they want it all for themselves .

That is my full and complete answer

I just explained why. They don’t want all the land, though I think may have done decades ago

You havent read the Hamas charter .

It clearly states they want ALL the land .

From the River to the sea

The Palestine Hamas charter states they want all the land with Jerusalem as its Capital city , Israel to be abolished completely .

Doesnt look like God is on the Palestinians side :)

Who did God promise the land to ?

Who does God seem to be damning ?

If you want a more in depth answer about why they have their opinion , then you would have to ask them personally .

Could this be one of the reasons why?

Vladimir Jabotinsky, in an essay titled The Iron Law (1925) stated that:

“A voluntary reconciliation with the Arabs is out of the question either now or in the future. If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison for the land, or find some rich man or benefactor who will provide a garrison on your behalf. Or else-or else, give up your colonization, for without an armed force which will render physically impossible any attempt to destroy or prevent this colonization, colonization is impossible, not difficult, not dangerous, but IMPOSSIBLE!… Zionism is a colonization adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force. It is important… to speak Hebrew, but, unfortunately, it is even more important to be able to shoot – or else I am through with playing at colonizing.”

Different scenario entirely to land theft, selling land from underneath Palestinians!

I can see many reasons why Muslims prefer Muslim tenant and Jews Jews. Diet and observance, lack of disdain, respect aso. I'm a vegetarian and I would not rent to someone who ate meat in my house!

If that is true, it's precisely the same with Israelis. They want it all. West Bank, for instance, Temple on the Mount.

Pretty strange that two peoples who believe exactly the same thing--diet, circumcision, wedding practices, women sequestered, head coverings, Abrahamic prophets aso--are so eager to kill each other.

1988 Hamas Covenant

2017 Hamas Covenant, without revoking 1988

However, Hamas stated a willingness to adhere to the 1967 borders. Why will Israel not accept such a compromise?

Secondly, Hamas is not all Palestinians, though the IDF has done everything it can to make sure they will support Hamas.

Just as Israel's militarism and universal conscription makes sure every Israeli supports the IDF, no matter what atrocities they visit.
