Jew hatred has become fashionable especially among young people

Tbe epicenter of trendy racist Jew hatred by brainwashed young people is now in Vienna.

Vienna has a long history of antisemitism. Adolf Hitler learned much of his antisemitism from the notorious Jew-hating mayor of Vienna, Karl Lueger. Hitler praised Lueger in Mein Kampf and copied Lueger's election tactics and antisemitic ideology when setting up the Nazi party and running in elections.

Several "academic experts" hold the same opinions as Shlaom and express them better. Those are the people the BBC interviewed.

The targets of the attacks included a synagogue in New York City. Jews around the world are definitely in the cross-hairs. Luckily this plot was foiled before lives were lost.

It would be easy to dismiss the content of this YouTube, because there is perceived bias in DDN, but, for sure, these comments from Israeli citizens are truly shocking.

It seems that many Israelis, young and old, share the same 'fashionable' hatred, but of Palestinans !

The situation is desperately difficult.

Straw man garbage ??

On March 9th a bomb attack on Synagogue in Liège, Belgium

On March 13th an arson attack on Synagogue in Rotterdam.

On March 14th a bomb attack on a Jewish school in Amsterdam

On March 22nd an arson attack on 4 Hatzola volunteer Jewish ambulances in London.

On April 15th an arson attack on the Finchley Synagogue.

On April 17th an arson attack on Jewish charity in Hendon.

On April 18th  an arson attack on Kenton United Synagogue.

On April 29th two Jewish men stabbed in Golders Green, London

All this within a two month period this year, and you make a vacuous comment trying to dismiss and diminish Antisemitism, rather than looking at the demographic of the perpetrators and questioning if there might be a problem there  ………

I wonder just why you would call an epidemic of antisemitism, that has been recognised as such by governments throughout Europe  “straw man garbage” …… now let me guess 🤓

Why is it that Jewish people are the only group that has a specific word in the English language dedicated to racism towards them?

What do you call a person who is racist towards black people? An anti-N-word? There is no word. Geez, I wonder why. Could it be that it's carefully constructed propaganda .

If someone attacks a synagogue in London, in all likelihood they are trying to exact revenge for someone who was killed in Gaza.

Anti-semitism = mind control to deflect responsibility and blame for any wrongdoing in Israel.

Attacks on synagogues are basically extensions of warfare outside the boundaries of Israel. Mostly Arab people see people being killed in Gaza and decide to exact revenge.

Now, let's try an experiment. Go to a bar tonight, get pi**ed, start causing trouble and start attacking the bouncers. Then they will gang up on you and beat the crap out of you.

Then ... are you Brit? What will you? Come on the forum and complain that Thai bouncers are anti-Brit?

It's REVENGE. It's WARFARE.

The only way to stop it is through peace talks and negotiations and solving the crisis.

But since they do not want to do that, they have to keep playing the anti-semitism card.

I posted a video of an Israeli attacking a nun in Jerusalem. It was dismissed as a one off incident by a crazy guy. But still with social media now, everyone in the world is watching. And you don't think a Christian guy might want to continue the cycle of revenge, even if it's in another country?

If someone attacks a synagogue, lock them up. But some people are not deterred by prison sentences.

Double Down News is a left wing, UK-based outlet known for producing short antisemitic documentaries. Founded by Matt Kennard, with regular opinion pieces by the anti-British, antisemite, Owen Jones.

It is a go-to source for antisemites, so well done for finding that and further triumphantly parading your own transparent antisemitism.

And if you were a member of one of the thousands of Israeli families still devastated by the events of 7th October, you might have some understanding of that hatred, rather than mocking it.

Are you aware that of the 6,000 Gazan’s that took part in the most barbaric terrorist attack in modern history, that 2,200 were just ordinary citizens of Gaza … the other 3,800 were Hamas terrorists.

Did you witness the hatred of thousands (not a few) Palestinians abusing the dying and mutilated bodies of innocent young Israelis being paraded through the streets of Gaza ….. thought not, selective outrage again.

Pilgrim - to the contrary - my own 'outrage' is NOT selective. It's just a little wider than yours. You know, I try to look at all sides.

It's quite wrong to accuse me of being anti-semitic. But I have become a little anti-Israel (the State of) in recent years.

I'm also anti-Hamas/Hezbollah and Iran in their support for them.

Calm down . . .

Israel was never a good idea as a Jewish homeland without Arab approval as they owned, lived in the area for hundreds of years, the Jews born, living there during the Otterman era were able to live reasonable happy with their Arab neighbours until the influx of European Jews came in causing trouble with the Zionist agenda after the British won control with the Mandate after the end of WW1.

All the conflicts from that time stem from Israeli aggression against the indigenous populations. They were not wanted then as they are not wanted now, no one to blame but themselves.

What is the solution?

In my opinion there isn't one, Israel is supported by a lot of western governments through Israeli lobbies, making them very powerful militarily, said governments should have not allowed that to happen.

Most of us live in a corrupt political system as far as I'm concerned.

Religion should be banned, unless it can be proved that your "imaginary friend, benefactor in the sky actually exists.

That's not true. Many groups, whether ethnic, racial or other, have words indicating dislike, opposition, fear or hatred of them. Through use of the prefix "anti-" or the suffix "phobia," you can express hatred of or opposition to just about any group.

Anti-American and anti-U.S. are used on a daily basis in news reports. Along the same lines, you have words like anti-Russian, anti-French, anti-Black, anti-Catholic, anti-Muslim, anti-police, anti-immigrant, etc.

Islamophobia has already been mentioned. It first appeared in print more than 100 years ago. Homophobia and transphobia are modern additions. There's even a word for fear or hatred of clowns: coulrophobia. It's a real word; look it up.

A person who hates Black people is an afrophobe. From the Oxford English Dictionary:

The word "anti-Semitism" or "antisemitism" entered the English language in 1881 from the German Antisemitismus, which had been coined by Wilhelm Marr, a German journalist and agitator who thought it sounded more scientific and academic than the older Judenhaß  ("Jew hatred").  Marr himself is regarded as the "father of modern antisemitism,"  although he apparently renounced his anti-Jewish beliefs as an old man.

More dishonesty. You do not look at all sides; all of your comments have been blaming Israel for their responses to the multitude of attacks they have suffered, without ever mentioning the cause of their actions.

You have only ever mentioned Hamas or Hezbollah when challenged, never of your own volition; ditto the appalling number of antisemitic attacks recently in the UK, despite being a UK citizen.

Then, on this thread about the rise in antisemitism, instead of chronicling  one of the countless attacks on Jews, you trawl the internet to find a clip of a few Jews spouting hate towards Palestinians; designed purely to foment further antisemitism, and hatred towards Jews, so well done for shoehorning that into this thread.

Then you make lame, perfunctory disclaimers, thinking they will show some allegiance to impartiality; they don’t cut the mustard, your antisemitism is irrefragable, as is your duplicity.

Pilgrim, again that's a gross manipulation of what I have posted. You are trying to silence me with your bullying.

Anyway, what would be your solution to this mess? Prof. Avi Schlaim proposed a one state solution which I thought problematic in the circumstances.

Do you favour the 2 State solution ?

Or is there a 3rd option ?

What is your idea ?

I think it's important we don't lose sight of the cause of all these actions.

It is the forceful taking of the Palestinians land and houses.

They were Arabs.

So who did the Arabs forcefully take land from when they colonized the area?

Smell the hummus. Israel exists. It is not going anywhere. There will never be a one state of Arabs and Jews. The Palestinian side is river to the sea which equals genocide for Jews and you expect Israelis to take that sitting down.

The most likely option is the status quo more or less unless and until by some miracle both sides put in reasonable leadership ready to give up a lot in exchange for a better future for all.

Thanks Jingthing. I was very surprised when the Prof. mentioned a ONE State solution - never heard that idea and although it would be good, seems absolutely impossible to achieve.

Yes reasonable Leadership on both sides prerquisite to say, the TWO State solution. Long way to go with that !

So as you say, it's the status quo, (or worse).

Bill Maher hits it out of the ballpark.

Although so many of the trendy racist Jew haters are beyond any reason, this a common-sense message that deserves to be seen far and wide.

Happy Birthday Israel.

This is interesting.

At 5:30 of the video, they show Israeli activists in purple vests who belong to a group called "Standing Together". They are protecting Palestinians from attacks from Israeli settlers, risking their own safety. Some of them are not that young.

He says "The occupation cannot persist and this will be a majority view in Israel soon".

Of course you didn't watch it. Troll baiting questions ignored.

As you've expressed denialism about the history of Jews being persecuted for thousands of years in the diaspora which was the impetus for the origin of the ideology of political Zionism, here is another one you surely won't watch.

As I mentioned many people are well beyond the reach of reason.

Ok, I'll watch the videos later and get back to you. I am tired now.

I don't believe the narrative that Jews are the most hatest people of all time.

And even if there is some truth to it, it doesn't justify aggression against Palestinians.

They still use the Holocaust to justify their actions. But the Palestinians didn't cause the Holocaust.
