Hi Can anyone help me. I need a voltage inverter for 230 volts at 50 HZ to 115 volts at 50 HZ. This is for a 1 horsepower blender which I bought in the US but cannot use here in CM, Can anyone suggest where I might buy one?

what you need is not an inverter but a transformer. your U.S. blender is 60HZ but don't worry about that. in any bigger electrical shop you should be able to buy a transformer.

Are you sure your blender is 1 HP sounds awfully large for a blender ? I run a 1HP motor on my swimming pool and it's about 9" diameter and a foot long.

Thanks to all replies I bought a transformer today down chang moi and all seems to be ok.
