Well, what can I say; there are more specialized people out there who know much more than I do.

LaoPo

Yeah, but Castro ain't one of them.

Although, I tend to agree with what he's been saying in so far as I don't think it was an OBL/AlQuaeda attack.

I just think that it was a jetliner same as all the others that day.

LaoPo, if you ever started a revolution, in Holland, China, wherever... Could I be your Ché ?

:D But I will never start a revolution; too hard work in the jungle with all those nasty little creatures, mosquitos and the like carrying a heavy backpack and a rifle...not for me I'm afraid.

I prefer a relaxed beach sipping a cool drink with my beautiful Lady next to me... :o

So, sorry Kayo, no Che for you this time :D

I was told it was a David Copperfield's show went wrong. So far this has been the most convincing cause.

I feel a smily like this one :o is required at the end of your post meemiathai!

What about this one? :D

I hope you model yourself on the young, idealistic Che. The older version turned into an arbitrary butcher, like so many before him.

motorcycle diaries era?

Yes.

Don't forget Che ended up dead after what was quite likely a set up with at least Castro's knowledge if not involvement.

As a revolutionary Che is an interesting study but unfortunately it is very difficult to seperate the facts from the propaganda from both his supporters and his detractors.

I do not know. there's plenty of footage of 757 parts everywhere though. Here's a site that thinks the government did it, but says the misslile theory is bullshit:

This caught my eye from that link!

As we know,

There are known knowns.

There are things we know we know.

We also know

There are known unknowns.

That is to say

We know there are some things

We do not know.

But there are also unknown unknowns,

The ones we don't know

We don't know.

-- Donald Rumsfeld, Feb. 12, 2002, Department of Defense news briefing

:o

I know he took a worldwide dose of shit for that statement, and I may take a smaller dose of the same by saying this, but it makes perfect sense to me.

He was actually quoting from a Demming TQM matrix which is used to divide up what you know and don't know into segments. It is a very interesting exercise and points out the danger form not knowing what you don't know ie the hidden areas that can and will trap you.

The news media did a hatchet job on him for using it - it sounds like gibberish unless you spend a few moments thinking about the four categories and what they mean.

Meanwhile back on the original topic - this is very interesting for a large number of reasons. I had no idea that there was no footage of the pentagon strike. Has the same been for the plane that came down in the field short of its target (possibly the White House)?

I remember reading some time back but not confirmed the truth that there were at least another two planes that were identified afterwards as having passengers on board who "should" have done the same attack but didn't actually carry out the plan.

We are on page three and yet no-one has remembered that surveillance tapes of the airplane going on ground level and hitting the pentagon has already been released some months ago.

No wonder the conspiracy nuts has an easy job.

I think everyone is aware of those tapes that were released. The thing is, one couldn't make out what they were seeing. It only added to the speculation. It was so inconclusive, a conspiratorial person could imagine it was inconclusive by design. The one I posted above is better than the ones I had seen, that the government released. Still, I can't make anything out. Maybe a tail? If you could freeze frame it you might see something. I could not. Not that it matters, as it was widely witnessed.

I just read the Michael Moore stuff and think, "why don't these guys sue him?" It's not as if they can't afford lawyers.

Yeah, that crossed my mind as well.

For many years the septics have had the technology on constant standby to bring aircraft down without firing a shot, total electrical shutdown. Flight 93 identified as a potential flying bomb on It's way to the capital goes down in just about the only uninhabited area on it's flight path. Mmmmmmmmmmmm
