Is a 1965 'Stang too old for you? Up here in Chiang Mai I know a nice old Thai man selling a left hand drive fixed head version in mid-blue. Body looks totally sound and complete in all details.

It has the sort of rear window/rear quarter styling similar to the early Jaguar S-type coupe. What architects call "flying butresses" each side!

The downsides are that it has a Japanese 6 cylinder engine and the white leather upholstered front seats have been replaced, but the originals are there in 'mid' condition.

The plus points are that it has been dry stored up on jacks for over 2 years and he is not going to be greedy about the price. He has it advertised on www.autonostalgia.info with one poor rear-end pic.

Happy hunting!

I don't think the Mustang pictured on that page is a 65. Looks like something about 10 years newer to me.

Around the old US air bases (i.e. Korat and Sattahip) you often find some classic old American cars for sale. There used to be a Red 68 GT (I think, I am by no means an expert) being renovated a few miles North of Sattahip on the side of Sukhumvit Road.
