It is so quiet in town. Have people left because of the visa restrictions? Will they be back? In just one week high season starts and it is still so quiet, almost empty.

High season starts about one week before the Loi Katung holiday which is at the end of November.

I noticed hotel prices go up in november. October is definetly the considered the low season.

I agree, still a month or so to go in the Doldrums then things should pick up. Maybe not as much as some of the newbie hotels in town will be hoping for though.
