Ain't Kids Great?

Featured Replies

When I walk the dog morning and afternoon I usually pass groups of small children going to and from school.

They are at the age where everything is exciting and new and they start English classes early here. I'm often greeted with a chorus of "Hello"s and "How are you"s.

One little bloke, more ambitious than the rest, tried a "Good morning" once but unfortunately the sun was well past the yard arm. His social gaffe was soon loudly corrected by his fellows.

A small girl refuses to lower her standards of politeness for the sake of a foreign language and invariably greets me with "Hello ka". :o

Haha that's great, in England they'd be asking for your wallet!

Yeah, kids are real great. :D

The other morning I left the back door to my house open while I was having a shower & two ten year old girls scaled the fence, entered my house & stole all the food except the cheese in the fridge. :D

No <deleted>! :o

Real adorable. :D

Nah - kids are great when they not being naughty! :D

yeah...where I live in Suphanburi it's usually 'FALANG!...<deleted> YOU!!!...'...always with a big smile, of course... :o

The locals kids near the MIL's in Phon call me aunty farang :o

Unreal about the food, if you know who they are you should track them down and force the to eat the cheese!

Our two are notoriously indiscreet. Miss youngest told her teacher that 'my daddy has an enourmous willy' and only yesterday I read in the eldests school book that 'at the weekend, my mummy cut a lot of my hair off because I have nits still' :o

whaaa?...ye can't be gettin' rid ob de nits...pickin' nits outta kids' hair is a national pass time...

Me and my brother where talking about an old LP that i had broken. My Neice says "what's an LP"? I say "it's a big CD, what we had in the old days". "Oh, right" she says and goes about her business (of ear wigging conversations between adults mostly) :o

Not funny really but shows how happy they are with an explanation that they can relate to.
