Sale in aid of a foundation for the local hilltribes.

This Sunday (7th), there will be a handicraft sale in the foyer of the Legend Hotel, Chiang Rai from 4-7pm, where you can see some of the new designs which the foundation team have come up with.

These unusual products combine the skills, natural materials and designs of four cultures: Akha, Lahu, Karen and ethnic Burmese. There are also some designs from Isaan silk weavers.

We also hope to have a demonstration of Akha needlework, with some sewing materials provided so the nimble-fingered amongst you can try your hand at traditional embroidery.

(All profits go to support community development projects for hilltribe villages.)
