August 13, 200916 yr I can't believe why you choose to drive a piece of scrapmetal (Lexus) Suegha. Like I said, as long as we are happy in our choices. We looked at so many cars from Audi to Merc, and the Lexus just trumped them all on every front!
August 13, 200916 yr Suegha is a discerning customer, look what come with every new Lexus :- Free air-bags!
August 13, 200916 yr I can't believe why you choose to drive a piece of scrapmetal (Lexus) Suegha. Like I said, as long as we are happy in our choices. We looked at so many cars from Audi to Merc, and the Lexus just trumped them all on every front! No way Tigg's. I did the same when i was shopping around for a convertable a few years ago. Tried them all and ended up buying the Merc CLK Cabriolet. The others couldn't hold a torch to it. I sold it last year when I came out to Saudi and loved it just as much on the day I sold it, as i did on the day i bought it. However, if you favour Japanese to German engineering, that's your choice However, i might buy my Mrs some new airbags like in Ken's piccie
August 13, 200916 yr Like I said, the Merc came second, but yeah, I do favour Jap enginerring over German.
August 14, 200916 yr I must admit that a Merc was the best car I've had. Incredible suspension (smoothed out those speed humps beautifully). The ad campaign in Oz for Lexus put me off them. They were clearly trying to appeal to the Merc/BMW market, but the advertisements were incredibly plastic... An expression that comes to mind is their use of the term 'The discerning difference'. Plasticity at its foremost. Yes, I can look past the ads towards the product itself, but really!
August 14, 200916 yr It's a bit like Phillips and B&O similar components just a bit different marketing and bla bla. I mean if S would just make two appointments, let's say morning the Lexus and afternoon M5, I am sure he would go for the M5. Vroooooooooommmmmm, 500 brute HP, burn outs and all of that, much more fun driving....... Can you cancel the Lexus Suegha?
August 14, 200916 yr The first known written instance of floccinaucinihilipilification, as recorded in the Oxford English Dictionary, is in 1741, in a published letter by William Shenstone.
August 14, 200916 yr But have you at least tried a Bimmer? Funny how random posts has become a discussion about my car choice! However, I would not drive a Bimmer if you gave it to me for free!!! And I mean that most sincerly folks...

The extras list on the Lexus and it's all included. You pay for it all on the Merc and the finish is just not the same. I do love the Jap enginerring.
August 15, 200916 yr On this day :- 1057 - Macbeth, the King of Scotland, was killed by the son of King Duncan. That's given me an idea for a story !

August 16, 200916 yr Today, a snake slithered across the road between Patong and Karon. In itself, not a problem - except for the fact that a car screeched to a halt to avoid hitting it and was within a poofteenth of causing a multi-car pileup.
August 17, 200916 yr LEXUS Luridly Expensive Xenophobic Useless Sux car NO more crap Jap car talk, PLEASE! S'posed to be random, not braggin'. Thank you
August 17, 200916 yr It must be something they put in your drink that makes you hallucinate..............a bit like bringing home a kathoey not realizing it until the next morning when you wake up and see alleged girl in the toilet pissing.....................standing. But go ahead please, buy the Plexus, it will give a similar surprise as above situation, ha ha ha! Trust me, I have some very uuuuurrrrrrrr "Nice" story's about them Plexusus.
August 17, 200916 yr I got a hire car today to drive to Jubail. About 4 hours each way. It was a Mazda but to be honest it was like driving and about as comfy as a MAzda shopping trolly.
August 18, 200916 yr Put a new cambelt kit, bearings etc, into my Honda Odyssey. It was apparently on its last legs, 150k, I was lucky I reckon. Watch that mileage people. Engine now so quiet, runs better, seamingly. Happy lil shopping trolley 'tis now.
August 18, 200916 yr My bank has just emailed me saying I can have text alerts to my mobile. Now <deleted> would I want that for? Modern technology...
