Ian, do you have permission to post these pics? The girl in the bottom pic looks like she wasnt expecting someone to be taking her pic at all.

EEK, I think pictures of people taken in public are not required to give permission.

That pic looks to be in the public domain

Didnt know that zpete. Actually its kind of worrying how people can generally just take pics of you, dontcha think? I dont mind when im asked though.

The most disturbing experience i had here was when a japanese guy saw me at the pool in my old condo complex. He asked if he could take a photo of me (i was swimming)..i saw no harm in it so said ok, then carried on swimming. Had no idea he was continuing to take photos. He had a big ole professional looking camera too. A little later i smiled and asked him nicely to stop. When i got out the pool he asked me to look..he had taken an awful lot of photos. He said he would like to meet again tomorrow at the pool. ...I stayed away for quite some time.

If he was just interested in getting to know me..there are less freaky ways in which to do so!

I agree, I ask ppl if it is in a possibly embarrassing to them, like at the beach, if nearby when I take general pix..

OZ has laws about taking pix of kids in parks and at beaches, even topless gals in public too.

Australia is becoming a bit of a PC wowser country..

You must realise all those papparazi would be out of work if they had to ask permission after staking out a celebrity.

.........and having to ask permission...... blimey.

No pix in newspapers, oh wow!

Just imagine the TV News................

I support Ian in his right to show us topless pictureswhistling.gif

No need to wait for more of Ians pics. Your wish is my command.

Random...............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........

New Zealand, the only unbeaten team at the FIFA World Cup.

Mind you, the Ockors mite try to grab some credit.

Who on earth would pay $266,500 for a stuffed horse ?

http://www.telegraph...hes-266500.html

P.S. The stuffed dog went for $35,000

I'm still shaking my head....

if this is the case, I will be taking my wife to that restaurant she likes so much and treating her to the full menu !!!!...........................( Anyone know how Ebay works ? )

My ten dollar sunglasses I bought in Tachilek last week just fell into two pieces.

Fell into two pieces of what ?.............. If it's two buckets full of green/brown foul smelling mess, beware !!! You'll need to thoroughly clean the lenses when you pull them out.

Two pieces of sunglasses, one of the lenses just fell out and now they are three.

They were really comfortable as well. I lose the good pairs and break the cheap ones.

Oh well, back to the industrial safety pair I scammed out of the boss on my last job. B)

Serious bit.

Sad tale on the web about a beautiful young Mom who was having a bit of trouble with her vision. Outdoor type, healthy in every way and looking forward to life.

Off to the old optricyclist, who said "oooops been in the sun a lot then" ?

Poor girl dead within two months. Melanoma from the sun exposure behind her eye !!! Inoperable, end of the road leaving devastated family.

If you play golf, fish, whatever.................Sun Glasses.

I rarely go out without them. Only rain, darkness or heavy cloud removes them from my countenance... (where they immediately get lost or broken :( ).

Speaking of glasses... Why the <deleted> do prescription glasses cost so much in western countries when the frames are basically the same as the cheapies. I've seen titanium, spring loaded frames that were no different than the ones I can buy in Thailand or Burma for $5 to $10. They can do the lenses within an hour in just about any prescription glasses shop in Thailand. But, in Canada a pair of prescription glasses cost anywhere from $400 to $700. And that price usually depends on the frames. Prescription glasses in Thailand seem to cost between 2500 baht and 6000 baht ... which is less than $200.

It's like the prescription drug industry, something that costs about ten cents a kilo to manufacture is sold in tablet form for a dollar each.

Workmen in Downton, southern England, left a gap when they painted solid white lines on the road, because they said they were not trained to remove a dead badger.

They stopped about a foot short either side of it.

A week later, "specialists" were due to remove the flattened animal.

Let's hear it for Badger - Busters ..........!

Thank the Lord it wasn't a Beaver..................The jokes would never stop

Cheap Charlie, aren't you. A new mouse is inexpensive... unless it's the kind that chews up the wiring on your vehicle.

The world’s first ice-cream van for dogs will open for business in London tomorrow.

The van will serve flavours such as Dog Eat Hog World — a chicken and gammon sorbet — and Canine Cookie Crunch, a more traditional vanilla ice-cream, albeit sprinkled with dog biscuits.

The maid had some of that sweet jelly slice the Thais like the other day and offered a piece to the dog.

He just sniffed it and walked away which didn't amuse her at all.

The bogey man is under your bed. Hes coming out to get you when you fall asleep.
