New Wheel Advise For Mitsubishi Triton

Featured Replies

I have a Mitsubishi Triton and would like to increase the ride height by a couple of inches for the rainy season hear on Samui.

Having just had a shock with water coming up the bottom of my drivers door after some heavy rain!

I don't want to change the suspension, I'm guessing if I got some bigger wheels with bigger profile tyres fitted I could do this?...

Can anyone advise me on this?.. ie. rough price?... where to go?... I'm looking for somewhere on the mainland as here on Samui everying is very expensive.

Can anyone help me with where to start?.. .ie. what sizes I should be looking at?... My current wheels are the 16" std wheels.

Thanks.

The easiest option would be to lift the body by 2 inches shouldn't be too expensive go to Dan autos and get a quote, there's another place in Chaweng main road near the post office get there price and compare.

Thanks for the reply. Where abouts is Dan's auto's?...

I might do both, I fancy some bad-ass wheels... : )

Dan Autos is in Maenam...on ring road right hand side going towards Maenam from Bophut. Not far after the Post Office.

Thanks again for the info. I'll go along to Dan's today after work.

I guess the next question is, where is the best place to go for wheels?... I'm guessing driving over to Suratthani would be cheaper than buying them on Samui.
