I dont think that Halloween is something that Thai ppl know about like Christmas. You better make your own costume?

Never seen anything about Halloween event in TH so i guess they dont do such holiday.

In Chiang Mai, the big stores such as Big C and Carre Four are selling halloween stuff - masks, capes etc. Also plates and cups in halloween theme. If you are looking for something for the kids you may want to check the stores in CR for the same.

My g/f is confused by Halloween, putting food etc out for the house spirits on a daily basis Yes. Running around dressed up like one - No way, are you farung people crazy or what?

But, there are costumes to be had in Chiang Rai as well and not only in bigger cities. Check the markets in center of town for example.
