I have had a small Canon digitial movie camera for about 2 years. It was purchased in the USA. It worked fine until a few weeks ago when installing a casette I get a message saying "Remove the Cassette". I have used different cassettes but same result. As this is no longer under warranty, can anyone recommend an outfit in Bangkok that could look at this to see if it is repairable?

Oops! Forgot about this. It is a Canon ntsc Elura 85 Digital Video Camcorder. Obviously a US model since it is NTSC. I am just looking for a trustworthy repair outfit that can look at it and tell me if there is any hope or if it is time for a new one. The still picture option works, but when I put a cassette in, new or used, it tells me to remove the cassette.

Just bring it to Canon service center on the 10th floor of Sathorn City Tower, at the southeast corner of Sathorn & Narathiwat Rd. intersection (BTS Chongnonsri).
