Its been a long road but I wanted to drop a note to offer some hope to any people out there who may be feeling depressed about the difficulties which may be faced when trying to get a settlement visa for the one you love.

I met my partner about 2 years ago when she was working in the UK, we fell in love almost instantly and decided it was worth doing our best to try to be together even though we knew it would be difficult.

She returned to Thailand last year and I went over to join her shortly after. I stayed there for 2 weeks during which time we got married. It was an amazing 2 weeks and an added bonus was just how cheap it was.

When I returned back on my own both of us felt that the only option for us was for me to return to Thailand permanently, due to a run in with immigration on her way back to Thailand. However I did not want to do this as my parents, my friends, my dog and my job were all in the UK. I researched jobs in Thailand and did not think it was going to happen.

I speculatively emailed the scouser (DAVIESKHAN), at this point I was quite desperate but to my surprise he offered hope and based it on the law to explain to me why I should not give up hope.

We went through the application process, gathered the evidence, paid the money and waited 6 months. I was confident thanks to regular conversations with DaviesKhan. However when the morning of the decision came the worst happened. My wife's visa was refused because i currently live in my parents house and they considered this to be unacceptable.

For want of a less corny word I was 'gutted'. However [name removed] was adamant they had made a mistake and went about sending letters on my behalf. Unbelievably a week later the Embassy contacted my wife to tell her to come in to collect her visa!

We have been together in England for over 3 weeks now and life is just as good as I hoped it would be. Amazing to think that 6 months ago I didn't see how we would manage to make it and again a month ago I thought everything had been taken away.

We are both so happy now and are excited about our life together.

The moral of this story is simple. If you really are in love then never give up...a love that has been tested really is love..

And... get good legal advice from a competent professional (like DaviesKhan for example) as you never really know until you do.

All the best and good luck

I taught him all he knows :D

Well Done and Good Luck Rocky, I can just hear the famous signature tune with Balboa's arms raised high.

I can confirm that Rocky's wife was indeed a client whom we assisted in getting a settlement visa for the U.K. Obviously, I cannot disclose any personal information as I am bound by client confidentiality. If Rocky is grateful for the assistance he and his wife received, there is no reason why he should not post so.

With regards to the promotion of Davies Khan, the company is a sponsor of this site and within the forum rules is permitted to reasonably be promoted.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

You have made two posts, both of which concerned agencies of some kind, bad experience by any chance? you appear to be the type that would use the poor, useless type found on a Pattaya street corner, for the hapless and misinformed.

Unfortunately you can't even spell stink, although I am only presuming that is what you meant, a Skink is a lizard type creature, an understandable mistake, given the thought was possibly going through your mind whilst shaving, perhaps?

DaviesKhan has neither the need, nor the requirement to self-publicise, he gets enough from indebted clients that frequently post on here.

Good Luck
