Ais Gprs Connection Problems

Featured Replies

We had had reports that members using AIS GPRS service to connect to the internet have not been able to access Thaivisa.com.

We have been in contact with AIS regarding this problem, and someone should be looking into it and hopefully resove the problem.

One member who has contacted us with this problem has managed to connect to Thaivisa by changing some settings - as follows.

Set manual proxy to 203.170.229.43 port 8080

I had mine as "automatic"

We will keep you updated as more information comes.

Totster :o

sounds more like just another dns issue.  they will update the server or you can switch to using opendns.

I had the same problem for 3 days and then a mate sent me a pm. This generated an email and I used that to get into Thaivissa and I have had no problems since then.

I used opendns or not and it made no difference. A pm and it came back to life. :o

when a company charges for support calls

TT&T also

nothing more to say

I was one, thank you for your emailed response and proactive actions in this matter. I won't hold my breath waiting for AIS to figure what happened, let alone a fix.

No problems for me accessing ThaiVisa using AIS/One-2-Call! GPRS. Agree it's a DNS issue on the internal AIS network. Best to add your own DNS servers (OpenDNS or any other large ISP works).

Also this network sometimes just wedges for me, so I disconnect and reconnect and all is well.

AFAIK AIS/One-2-Call does not charge for support calls, if you use 1175 from your mobile.
