A friend from the US is coming for a three week visit. I told him to just follow the crowd to the immigration checkpoint and the immigration official will stamp his passport with a 30 day visa.

Is that the correct information for arrival at Suvarnabhumi?

Almost correct. He will not get a Visa. He will get a 30 day entry stamp.

also one more technicality...he is an American (USA passport). yes, then will get 30-day entry stamp

Make sure he knows to IGNORE the line for "Visa on Arrival" this is NOT what he wants

How do I get up to that area where the Pattaya sign is up on that hill. .I love the colours I wish they would be in rainbow colours though to reflect diversity Can I get a Grab up there or can I walk ? There is a park up there too isn't there with beautiful flowers
