Big Feet! You Know What That Means....

Featured Replies

...it means big shoes!

I take a size 12 (aka 48) and am having a tough time finding shoes in SE Asia. Maximum size is usually 10 (44), save for maybe a few places with flip-flops and one or two pair of ugly oxfords. Timberland carries farang sizes, if you like their stuff.

Can anyone recommend a place in the Bangkok area (or anywhere in Thailand or Malaysia) that stocks a selection of shoes bigger than size 10?

Try outside the main temples where tourists go!!! :o

Have you tried MBK?

you can have them made just as cheap as buying from a western shop .most tailors sell made to measure shoes ,last pair i made were 2100b .

Thanks for that, I was considering something along those lines.

Where was it that you had them made?

I'm going to buy non-skid soles (a lifesaver!) and go looking for a shoemaker.

Someone told me that near to Banglampu is a neighborhood with a lot of Africans, and the shops in the area carry things in larger sizes. I'll check this out next time I'm in Bangkok.

Anyone know more about this area?
