Once again i am sitting in front of the screen, waiting for the page to open... and wait... and wait... and wait! At home i have a 1.5M/512K connection, and from day one i have gotten just over half the upload capacity (lucky if i hit 40 kB/s instead of the 64 kB/s the line should bring!) but the download capacity is almost there - 160, 170 kB/s possible with bit torrent or flashget. HOWEVER what takes eternities is web sites! Even with no bit torrent active, web sites load horribly slow, even Thai sites, for the past three days.

Here at the office we have a 256/128 line, TRUE as well, and it is just as slow with web sites, slower than my KSC dialup used to be! But here too, bit torrent easily gets the full speed, up and down.

I have already experimented with the "Open DNS" thingy and it didn't yield a change at all. And for bit torrent, while connected torrents move nicely along, after short time they always go "Tracker status - offline/timed out", this happens at home (router) as well as at the office (ADSL modem). Even the "forecastfox" thingy in Firefox always times out.

Anyone else having the same problems?

Same here, even the TV will not run and keeps freezing, as for having the TV + PC on, that is a no no for the past few days

Come 8pm the service just deteriorates even further, can't even stream the BBC decently, I have been dreaming of a decent connexion here for years, but it does't look like it will ever happen! 1000/512 and the best I ever get is 600/280 but normally 400/230, nobody in this country has any idea and not likely to anytime soon either.

True for me is never stable. Sometimes it's the full 2.5mbits, sometimes it's lucky to get 100k. And it's not dependent on the time of day, or day of the week, either. It could be great for a few weeks or a few days, and then lousy for some. True supposedly has its own gateway now, but it seems like it's not really helping to keep the speeds stable.

There is a Tweak program which im using ... U can search on google about this .im geting average of 365 kbps download and 65kbps upload .. during busy periods ...

And if its late nite or early morning it turns to super fast internet
