some time ago asked for advice on a chevy optra,well i have one and its one great car,although they do depreciate faster than honda ect.

anyone else gone the chevy route?

Rented an Optra Estate for a month and was generally impressed. Wouldn't buy one new though because as you rightly point out, depreciation is a bit of a killer. The other thing against it for me are the looks. With the new offerings from Japan, the Chevy really looks past it. I like that it's understated, but it needs up-dating.
