Semi Inflatable Motor Boat...(zodiac Type)

A friend has recently returned from Samui and told of his experience renting a semi inflatable Zodiac (with engine) somewhere close to Bo Phut.

This was the only information he gave me.

Will be travelling down to Samui in a few days and wondered if this was possible, ideal activity to keep the kids happy for an hour or so.

Does anyone have any more info that I would find useful, ie cost location etc.

As far as I was aware I have always thought it against Thai Law using a watercraft without a Licensed Thai National being present. There again how many Thai Laws are often flouted.
