Uk Visa Centre

Featured Replies

My wife is to put forward her settlement visa on monday morning, what she has asked me is what suitable clothing goes down well at the centre.

Any ideas what she should wear?

Cheers all......

Scotty..

Hi Scotty,

obviously dont dress in short skirt, flimsy top and 6" stilletos. Just treat it like you were attending an interview back here in the UK.

When my wife went to the application centre, she dressed smart casual....long trousers, smart shoes and her yellow "we love the king shirt". After her application, she was invited to attend an interview at the Embassy where she wore long trousers and a smart long sleeved shirt. Go easy on the bling as well.

I saw people in there looking like they'd just come back from a nightclub or the beach.

Well we have talked about it today, and she says she will be wearing a nice pair of shoes, pair of jeans, and a nice top.

Will that go down well??

Thanks...

Does it matter what you wear to hand in papers at the Visa Application Centre? The people there don't have anything to do with deciding applications.

Going for interview at the Embassy - full dress uniform and medals.

Well obviously you want to look presentable right?

and warm, used to be a bloody cold place
