Well, it just destroyed my registry.

Needless to say I won't be using this program any longer.

For me works fine!

But what's happen? Could you please post as much details as possible? Include your system info and security settings please.

Thanks.

Tried to optimize the registry, let it do a scan, then deleted all the things it recommended I delete.

Upon reboot, a whole ton of stuff failed (class not registered). I shot off an email to them asking where they stored the backup of the registry. No response.

System restore was one of the items which failed.

Eventually, I discovered that Lenovo's own Rescue and Backup system had a copy of my computer from Dec. 26th, so I selected that and prayed... and it worked.

Today - 3 days later - I finally get a response from them about where my registry backup is - despite having sent to the email address earmarked for "urgent" communications.

Needless to say I will not be using this program again.

But just for the record, I am on Vista Business Pro with Sp-1 Beta 2 installed on a Thinkpad X60.

As I wrote, I don't have any problem with it but the Laptop I used that prog didn't has SP1 installed is just Vista Ultimate. But I'll try on an machine with SP RC and than will see. I'll  informing.

If you do try it, definitely back up the registry first - it will save to C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\SeriousBit\EnhanceMyVista\Backups. It's apparently a normal .reg backup so if you encounter any situations you can just install the reg.
