I am going to apply a Non Imm O visa multi-entry, which I know that need to show 400k baht in the bank.

Do I need to get a letter from the bank or just photo copy the bank book first page(which show my details) and the latest amount in bank, to let the bank officer certified and stamp?

I presume you are applying at a Thai Embassy/Consulate outside of Thailand. What are the grounds for you applying for a Non-Immigrant O visa. Retirement or support of a Thai citizen ?

Good idea to prepare a bank statement, and copy the passbook, but take the original with you too. Thats if you need to show any money for your entry requirement.

As you are Malaysian, Penang may give you a multi entry with a smaller amount in the bank.

Give them a ring and ask.
