What did you eat in the last 24 hours.....a revolving thread of the gastronomic delights of the Los based unfortunates.

Me....

Bacon, eggs, multi grained toast, sausage and tomato sauce.

Bbq chicken and sticky rice.

Larb Ghai, prawn and noodle salad, omelet and rice.

Apple pie and a bucket of cream.

Now that I'm back in Liverpool my diet will be a bit different from the past 4 weeks.

4 Nut combo with goat's yoghurt for breccy, pinapple and mango for lunch, spaghetti with a smoky bacon and sun-dried tomato sauce for evening meal. And of course a good red wine to wash it down!

Crackers.

Chicken Curry.

Omlette.

Rice.

Go pretty light today and I'm not on diet. Normally a list goes A4 full page.

A few Pringles at about this time last night so probably just within the last 24 hours.

One of those 7-11 sweet Pandan bread loaves for breakfast this morning.

Lunch was Subway, 69 Baht daily special ham sub + cheese on Parmesan bread, toasted and with all salad items plus mustard.

A small wafer chocolate bar in the afternoon.

A few Fisherman's Friends.

Some Skittles-like sweets which came in a tiny packet, only about 5 in it, which were on a desk in the office for some reason.

A small piece of free-sample ham in the Villa supermarket which I visited before going home.

Dinner was grilled chicken "desert style", plus the usual sweet chilli dips. Also a bowl of Isaan-style pork rib soup and egg & crab fried rice.

A couple of oranges to finish.

I made a Spaghetti with sauce of chopped Tomato , garlic, onion and parmesan (proper stuff bought at a market in San Remo last week) for breakfast/lunch yesterday.

I don't do snack between meals anymore... except for Two bottles of red wine

Evening was steak & ale pie with chips down the pub. 6 Guinnesses

and at home another bottle of red.

today nothing yet except coffee. Probably cheese on toast for lunch in a minute. with some red wine if I've any left.

Currently in Oz. Tonight's dinner: Steak Dianne with asparagus, fries, and pumpkin. I usually only have one meal a day. While in LOS I like to cook at home, but often eat in restaurants from laziness due to the fact that I'm only around the corner from quite a few good ones.

skipped breakfast

Lunch at Carrefour foodcourt, Rama 4. Had Chicken Mamasan and a banana roti with a coffee.

In the evening a function at Indus in Soi 26. Plenty of free Indian food, washed down with Duvel and Chilean wine.

This morning a so-so breakfast buffet in a budget hotel, fried eggs (already cold) on toast. At least fresh coffee...

Toast, thick sliced and vegemite. Ribena and hot tea.

Pork and basil and rice, honey and lemon ice tea.

Crunchy pork and some green vegi, rice, pork, tofu and vegi soup, hijo ? like small fried dim sims and homemade lemonade.

Sliced and diced sweet yellow mango and kiwi fruit smothered in cream.

Yesterday.

8.30am Cofee x 1

9.00am M150 x 1

10.00am Birdy x 2

3.30pm Pork skin & herbs x 1

5.00pm Leo Beer x 3

8.00pm Chicken wing x 2

9.00pm Whiskey & soda x 4

1.00am Chicken Nugets x 12, Deep fried bacon x 5

Lots of ciggarettes.

Doner Kebab late last night, washed down with a Boddington's.

In the last 24 hours?

Tomato soup followed by lamb chops with salad and fries and a can of Sprite.

Half a packet of Fox's glace fruits.

3 bottles of bia Saigon.

8 bottles of bia La Rue export interspersed with barbecued chicken and steamed prawns.

3 more bottles of bia Saigon.

Sleep.

Bacon, sausage, two eggs, baked beans, fried tomato, 2 x toast with a cuppa rosy lee (tea).

In the next 24 hours I will attempt a repeat but concentrating more on the bia's as no work tomorrow :o despite the construction manager's best efforts.

<edit : sorry, just realised this thread was aimed at LOS based unfortunates. well i'm close enough>

Mug of Black Coffee 1/2 spoon of sugar. :D

Then more Coffee and Cigs until "Beer O'Clock :D " 3.00 pm until feeding time :o just before me last beer.

Food wise Euro food. :D

One meal per day and still growing fatter on me "Beer" diet of "Singha". :D

Midnight snack....cornflakes, milk, 2 bananas, smothered in cream, sprinkle of honey.

Thick farmers loaf toast, vegemite, hot tea and ribena.

Iced coffee and iced tea.

Green curry and brown rice.

I can feel another midnight snack comin on.

Java, 2 slices of wholegrain toast with VEGEMITE.

Oranges and bananas.

Afternoon snack....1630

Slab of steak tartare and home grown tomatoes.

Fish with steamed veges.

Supper.... 0000hr

Hot chocolate and scotch shortbread

Breakfast: Banana Smoothie & some white tea

Mid morning snack: A few lychees

Lunch: Tom Yum Goong/Barramundi & Rice

Afternoon: Some grapes & a nectarine

Dinner: Laab Pla Duk & Salad

Obviously the ones with vegemite in their posts are the guys with superior tastes for quality cuisine.

Evening meal........Irish whiskey to drown sorrows at watching England try to

play rugby.

Two in the morning light snack of more Irish Whiskey until bottle somehow empty. ( never trust your children )

Have to love the weekend. Sunday AM off for dim sum after breakfast which consisted of a Berocca . Headache which must have been caused by the dam_n sausage roll. Note to self: replace roll with more beer next week.

Remember - Sunday - 4.00 o'clock - Wanchai Hash. Just jog around for an hour and then consume a lot more beer.

Funny how those rolls cause headaches! There are so many foods that do...

Yes it makes one consider whether one may be better off to simply avoid food altogether. A wise man once nearly said, "Never trust a man with a 'fridge full of food".
