Can one of you kind people sort me out with this! I was in the showroom today considering buying one of these having read the glowing reports here

Now my confusion lies in the description "Starry Black Mica" on the Gold Edition model...i looked and it just looks like solid black to me ? I have been into the Toyota showroom and their Vigo certainly does have a sparkle to the black colour

"Starry Black Mica" looks indeed like solid black until the sun shines on it. Then you can clearly see silver/blue particles sparkling.

I know what you mean.

The showrooms/brochures/photo's do not do this colour any favours. It wasn't until I collected my car (GT Auto) 2 weeks ago out in the Thai sunshine, that I fully realised its beautiful colour. Its a very subtle sparkle (blue/green/silver/purple!!) and not as crazy as I've seen on some cars back in the UK.

p.s. Check the tyre pressures!! Thia's are notorious far making em TOO TOO hard,thinking it will save gas. Mine were 50 psi front and 45 back!!

I;ve got a black one and indeed it is black from a distance but has all these flecks in the paint to give it one heck of a glow up close. Don't worry though, looks nice under all the dirt.

Was back in the garage yesterday and i solved my problem...for some reason the one in the showroom is black metallic...even though that is not an option? Well T.I.T
