Unable To Install Sp3 On Windows Xp!

Unable to install SP3 on Windows XP!

Microsoft didn't support Windows XP!

Sounds crazy or? But for some reason it's true.

Since August 30. 2004 Microsoft didn't supports Windows XP RTM anymore. So, the first public version of Windows XP incl. RC0 isn't supportet anymore by Microsoft.

But that didn't means you can't use Windows XP for the future!

The work around is easy, you need just to install SP 1 or SP2 on XP and viola the now existing version XP SP 1 or 2 is supported again. At same moment you can install SP3!

Don't start to bother me that everybody has SP1 or 2 already! I know that! But how many still using the original of XP without included Service Pack? I believe quite a lot incl. myself!

This post is to remind all of you who owns an original XP without Service Pack to keep SP1 and SP2 in case you need to reinstall your XP.
