January 23, 200818 yr Nice, I love doing the traffic shots, I think you found a really great place to do this one because of instead of open sky you have more traffic structure. I would like to have seen a longer exposure as well, maybe 15 seconds. It's hard to tell which exposure will make the shot.
January 23, 200818 yr That is a super shot. The skytrain provides an excellent framework. I think you go the exposure about right, at 3 sec, it leaves the bus in focus, with just a flare of movement from the back window. It also froze the pedestrians. I am puzzled by the streak on the traffic lights, surely they are stationary?

Anywhere between two and ten seconds seem to work nice for traffic pictures.

January 24, 200818 yr Author Here is another. 2.5 seconds , f8, White Balance set to around 2800k. Got lucky... 2 Skytrains got into the frame.
January 25, 200818 yr I prefer the colours and content of the first shot. Both however, are imho, the best two shots I've seen so far on this forum. Well done.
January 26, 200818 yr I agree these are the better shots from this forum, but are they good shots? I do not think so, yes relatively they are. But leaving a shutter open fore a few seconds and record some traffic is an old trick. I think we can do better.
