I have just purchased a Yaris and, when it arrives, intend to replace the OEM wheels and original spec tires with aftermarket products. Have heard that the aftermarket wheel and tire sellers will buy the OEM wheels and tires, but for a pittance only. Would appreciate hearing any suggestions on where (I'm in BKK) I can obtain a fair price for selling my brand new OEM wheels and tires. Thanks.

cheers.

I did that but not in BKK, go to a wheelshop and ask, they will give you a better deal if you buy from them too. The more expensive wheels you buy the better discount you get..

For the yaris I bought I got some 17" special lightweight wheels and I paid 15000 total. That includes tires, rims, fitting, service.... Mind that I did spend the better part of 200000 there the year before so they do love me...

There are online options like eBay & BahtSold etc.

Put a picture up at the supermarket and in the backl of your car?

However have you considered keeping them for when the Thai roads eat your nice new mags ?

It must be obvious that you are only going to get a crap price as there are not that many people going the other way, throwing away their shiny expensive bigger wheels and asking for originals are there ?

expect the price of the tyres if the wheels you are taking off are steel, otherwise add 4-5000 baht,
