So i decided on the D Max Cab4 etc. and went and arranged a test drive on completion of which the wife wanted to buy. Seems fine so far? In steps the salesman 10% down and 48 monthly payments with a first 20k baht then and there for them to order.Still seem fine? Contract filled in and all signed and we have to wait a week for delivery as they have not got LS Auto in Starry Black Mica in stock. Still seem fine?

And now to the T.I.T bit....they come back the next day "Sorry we make mistake this car 30% down" "You can have any other but this one"

And it appears our 20k has been put in the bank ...but we can have it back next Tuesday

If this happened anywhere but here i would have been peeved...instead sent the wife to Toyota to buy a Yaris

According to the price list I have it's indeed:

30% down payment for the LS and

20 % down payment for the other models.

I agree but they were the ones who said 10% not me and to make it worse the Isuzu garage in Nakhom Panhom rang this afternoon saying 25% down for their's ...and they have one in stock they would drive here to show us.....plus it's 10k cheaper

Isuzu Surin tried the same b@llocks with me and asked for further deposit monies AFTER (I thought) all was agreed, so I explained they had 2 options:- leave things be and gain my sale OR return my deposit and I will go to ISuzu Buriram with my cash.

Not suprisingly they carried on with my sale

BTW Surin had in stock 2 black mica Dmax4cab auto 4x4 GT models, I bought one and the remaining one has just had 70,000b worth of chrome/black 20in wheels plus low profile tyres fitted AT NO MORE cost than I paid!!!!!

Happy (but silightly P*ssed off)
